I cant believe a tournament for fat old blokes and not so fat and old women held at Cardiff Arms park last weekend, ended up in a scrap!!

Wath, duly invited, turned up and in the first game a player from each side was sent off!!!

Good craic all t'same.

Someone once properly tackled me in a tag rugby match - slammed me to the ground. Once I'd got my breath back from this surprise turn of events I chased him around the side of the pitch with the intent of causing him similar damage. He was faster than me and the red mist cleared, thankfully. I reckon the new, slim, me would have had him.

"I am the avenging angel; I come with wings unfurled, I come with claws extended from halfway round the world. I am the God Almighty, I am the howling wind. I care not for your family; I care not for your kin. I come in search of terror, though terror is my own; I come in search of vengeance for crimes and crimes unknown. I care not for your children, I care not for your wives, I care not for your country, I care not for your lives." - (c) Jim Boyes - "The Avenging Angel"

I'm interested in that drive, that rush to judgment, that is so prevalent in our society. We all know that pleasurable rush that comes from condemning, and in the short term it's quite a satisfying thing to do, isn't it?
