Monday Perpignan

Recommended Posts

Good Monday. 40 French players assemble at Gilbert Brutus today. Preparing for the 2022 WC. Clubs include Huddersfeild, Salford, Halifax, London Broncos and Barrow at this stage. Historic weekend  with Dragons-TO for the first time to win games/ feeling on top of the world at this moment. Laurent Frayssinous coach with Maxime Greseque help in hand. Later Sean Long should be involvred along with the out standing Roosters boss Trent Robinson.

Interesting seing the half-backs included. Fages-Mourgue, Gigot-Albert and youngsters Rouge-Fabre.

When was it ever like that?

What is the state of play with Morgue?  Due to return soon?

I'd maybe have Gigot/Fages at 6 and 7 with Morgue at FB

It's 'Mourgue' by the way, as Audois correctly indicated.  Don't want to see the young lad's career come to a dead end, do we!

I like your suggestion of trying Gigot and Fages in the halves with Mourgue at full-back, JM2010.

Good point. Mourgue it is.

Think he could be a real threat from fullback, especially with Gigot and Fages pulling the strings

Centre jussaume, romano, gigot, laguerre, Miloudi  Marguerite,

Halves, gigot, fages, Albert, mourgue, Rougé

Props dezaria, segieur, cozza, Springer, navarrette, Sangaré, Bousquet, goudemand

Second row goudemand , Garcia, segieur, Stefani, le cam, Julien,

Lock Garcia, goudemand, Marion, or a prop at lock.

Plus a few elite and championship players that could be  surprise inclusions

Rougé can barely tackle in Élite 1, he's a couple years away from SL at the very least

The Esteve team at the weekend had Da Costa, Seguier, Le Cam, Rouge & Laguerre in it.  I know the pitch was heavy but you would never have guessed any of them was WC material.
