A really strong opening 20 from Wigan but we  still haven’t addressed our lack of grunt upfront & when teams take us on up the middle we tend to fade alarmingly.

Your No 13 made his name and reputation on his a grunt and aggression and was a special player for his team and a joy to watch for the speccies he has neither of those attributes now what's happened Dav, a honest question.

Strange isn't it. I thought Hull was stronger all over the 40 mins. Took longer than I thought before scoring though.

Yeah, I guess it might sound like I’m saying Hull don’t deserve their lead (which they do), but at one point I thought Wigan were going to grab a big early lead and get comfy.

When the pendulum swung in the half though I guess Hull FC were probably knocking at the door earlier on further reflection.

Completing sets seemed to build confidence.

Swift ran directly into the ref after scoring. He could have avoided him, but didn’t. Could be in trouble for that.

That's harsh, it was blatantly a complete accident and neither the ref or player made anything of it

Rugby Union the only game in the world were the spectators handle the ball more than the players.

It was a strange one and the only person who will know for certain is Swift and he is unlikely to comment

He’s playing in the centres & he was never known for his grunt even at his best.

Wigan players stopped in the line 1st half.

Thought my tv was playing up there but realised that Sky was showing a replay of the ref talking to Connor.  Gripping stuff.
