Have you noticed that all the crowds are opposite of the cameras , mainly because of main stand been more costly. Couldn't clubs promote (charge less) for t.v. games? I think it would give far more atmosphere for viewers and a better image for the game.

That’s been discussed on here before, eg Leeds, Wire, Saints all have the bigger crowd behind the cameras. I think the conclusion was that you can’t just move cameras because they need purpose built places to have them.

The OP's suggestion was encouraging the fans to move, not changing the camera positions.

Ah I see. I doubt anyone’s going to move from a terrace to a seat so it looks better on tv.

I think UBranger means all the crowds are on the same side as the cameras, giving a poor impression to the non-RL supporter. I watched a few games these last couple of weeks, and I have thought that in almost every one that the crowd looked very poor, until you caught a quick glimpse of the crowd on the side where the cameras were, and there were lots of supporters.

I mean, anyone would think it was a conspiracy against rugby league, 😎.
