Coote hasn't made the trip to France and neither has Frankie Halton. Vete and Garratt still  missing .

Looks a very tall order to follow up after the derby with a day's less rest than the opposition and also the travel.

Feels like this has been set up to provide Toulouse with a great opportunity.

Is that covid rule still in force or has it finished?

True but when you throw in the travelling after such a short turnaround and Toulouse starting to get into must win territory anything can happen l

You were right, 12-0 at half time👏

Toulouse quite simply have to win from this position. A couple of good chances have already gone by the wayside for them and if they have any chance of surviving they can't blow another one.

Oh well. First nail in the coffin.

Yep, even if they get close to avoiding the drop they will look at missing two points here as crucial. 18-4 up in the second half and blown it.

Typical promoted performance by the sound of it , unable to keep the intensity up for long enough

Yep true, they would have been off the bottom with a win today and then they play Leeds next week (and could be 3 points clear). The season is almost right here.

Phew!

Just need Wire to do their duty against the Dark Side now, and it’ll have been the perfect weekend 😃

Apparently this site says I "won the day" here on 23rd Jan, 19th Jan, 9th Jan also 13th December, whatever any of that means. Anyway, 4 times in a few weeks? The forum must be going to the dogs - you people need to seriously up your game. Where's Dutoni when you need him?

Wouldn't that have been fun ? 😉

toulouse simply dont deserve to be relegated - if the game is to expand - get rid of wakey - as normal service seems to have been resumed at smell vue

see you later undertaker - in a while necrophile

Toulouse had everything going for them here. They have been having weeks off whilst everyone else was in the challenge cup and they had the benefit of a Thursday game whilst Rovers were in a full blooded derby on the Friday.

Travelling to France almost straight after the Good Friday derby was the short straw for Rovers so to come back from 18-4 with plenty of absentees is a great result.

A lot been made of Toulouse having more recovery time but in reality they've had about half a day; it isn't anything worth making a big deal out of.

I expect a close game with Rovers pulling away towards the end.

You were spot on with your prediction.

Unfortunately for Toulouse they aren’t going to get these advantageous circumstances going into every game from now on.

They blew it and most likely their chances of survival.
