Agree with DavidM about Young. He was good yesterday defensively under the high ball (maybe only once under real pressure) but offensively? I get the impression he lacks a bit of aggression - he should be a nightmare for opposing teams.

He got a lot of stick from a few behind me yesterday, very unnecessary as I thought he was very good yesterday the brain fart pass in front of our sticks apart!

We played pretty well yesterday although most of it offensively was in front of their defensive line as has been our problem all season. The lads had a real dig and were unlucky to come away with nothing.

Some of the refs calls were harsh on us as it always seems to be when you are at the bottom of the league. Be interesting to watch one of their tries back as I thought their player pushed ours over on a kick through to score.

Playing Henson out of position just doesn't make any sense to me as he is the one with the x factor to create something. The new lads don't seem to address our weaknesses but need more time.

Hastings got more game time and I thought played well. Someone needs to have a word with Clark though as he finds impossible to take a ball in without stuttering and losing momentum. He's big and quick enough to run in straight and hard but never does.

The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!

We had all just praised him and said he had been really good, then he threw that pass....so its our fault.

He did push Forber out the way, and 2 if their attackers were well in front of the kicker. The ref looked like he was going to disallow it but wanted help from his linesman, who a ls usual gave him no help at all.

He's been a lot better since the derby match. That penalty was ridiculous on their line , he jumped for the ball, their player hardly left the ground and he gets penalised.

He definitely hesitated and looked around for clarification didn’t he , so he must have felt something wasn’t right , but looking for help from touchies in this league is the height of optimism

Exactly what I thought. He was very reluctant to give it but neither touch judge did anything

Twice this season he's penalised for what was simply an attempt to catch a ball, it's ridiculous.

To me the whole game hinged around the pen when the score was 10-10 .20 metres out on the left , we kick it its 12-10 , we miss we get the ball back from the drop out .Instead we gamble tap it get nowt , six tackles later they score at the other end 10-16 ....you would have thought after the Newcastle game at the seasons start when we turned down numerous pens we would have learned our lesson .After all that the Team played very well , discipline was spot on , it just seems game management is our big problem .And finally was that the smallest Team from 1-17 we have ever fielded ?

I don't like to blame the ref but it sounds like he cost us 2 points last week at dewsbury and again today he was the difference. I just wish we had a ref every week like ben thaler who referees both teams the same and you hardly notice, instead of bennett who seems to love being the centre of attention

Ben Thaler you have got to be joking he had a nightmare at haven yesterday. Bradford tinted glasses.

I'm honestly trying to find a reason that TJ are even there, they should be assisting the ref when possible, they literally jus put the flag up when ball goes thru sticks or in touch.

I actually felt for the ref yesterday as each time he looked to them for help they basically ignored him and hung him out to dry.

I do a get a bit bemused over our recruitment strategy . Did those lads yesterday look any different to what we have , rather than what we really need and have since day one . Chris seems to love a certain type of utility player but we’ve been crying out for specialists in positions we’re weak in and can make a difference since day one

I was right in line with a TJ and they threw a obvious forward pass and TJ done nothing but the ref blew for it (eventually). I asked my mate if they were wired up and don't use the flag so much? It's the only explanation I can think.

I think they’ve been recruited as we need bodies, rather than a focus still being on utility value

The highlights are now on Twitter.

If you talking about the Manning try you will see he’s clearly onside. It’s not even marginal.

A chap stood behind me was apoplectic with rage at the decision. Directing the most vile abuse at the ref who, it turns out, got it correct.

Watching the highlights there was nothing in the kick tries tbh . Forber tried to get in Mannings road as he went toward the ball as much as owt , it was pretty minimal . Kicks from tries are one thing , worse was Bickerdike being pretty weak on the line then four men not stopping him getting it down . Couple of nice tries from us , pass from Thomas was a belter . Frustrating that we couldn’t find anything similar second half

I was at the Haven game yesterday, and thought Thaler did a good job as he always does.

However, most fans of a loosing team they always want a scapegoat and blame the Ref for their teams losses.

TJ's put their flag diagonally across their chest to signal a FP, which might well have happened but you didn't notice. A lot of fans think that a TJ should be signalling like a linesman (assistant referee) at football, waving their flag for everything. In RL they don't, and never have done, but they do use a number of more subtle signals to communicate.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

Thought Marcus O`Brien deserves a bit of praise for his performance yesterday . Big strapping on his leg , clearly got a fair whack on it , but hopped around to run it off after refusing to come off .Then came back second half and put a fair shift in again . You can`t ask for anymore .

Played brilliantly on the radius, so close but no cigar.

Great commentary with Calum Linford and Stott.

Fear we will look back on these really close games, and say if only.

Cheers Peter late call up 15 before KO 🙈 hopefully it wasn't too biased for a 1st attempt at full match.
