Lomax looks like he can hardly pass the ball which is making saints attack look very predictable and easy to read. Wigan defence handling them quite easily so far. Saints could come back but it will need a huge change in the second half.

I feel bad for Davies. I liked his display in the kids’ game at Cas, because he seemed angry and a competitor, even in a beaten side. But today he looks nervous and lost. This will be battering his confidence.

Give him a bit of slack, he doesn’t cope well with Saints not playing well.

Saints not at the races, Wigan have taken their chances brilliantly. 
I would always back Saints to score 3 tries even with 10 to go but these really need to step up and play more composed on the last tackle. 
I can see Saints pushing back but if Saints tire Field and French could rip us apart.
