Some tough calls this week

only definite is fev , fev by 40 plus

newcastle are full time so the travel shouldn’t be a problem, but I think London might pip it by 2

then I will say barrow by 10

bradford vs York is a 50/50 so I’m going 18-18

Fax vs Sheffield will be another tight one but I think a week off for fax and sheff getting some knocks against Leigh will edge it to fax , fax by 8

widnes v Whitehaven another close one 24 -20 to Widnes.

Agree with them all except Widnes v Whitehaven not so sure I suggest it will be much closer, it's how Widnes are going to react after the loss if their coach and the 70odd points put on them last out.

Yeah I agree, I think I got mixed up with Haven and Worky even though I'd seen Worky above. Still think Widnes will have enough but probably closer than I predicted. I think its another pretty easy week to predict though.

I think the Bulls game is pivotal for our season.

If we lose, and it's a distinct likelihood, then it's hard to anything other than our season petering out into mid to lower table mediocrity.

A lot will depend on which version of the 2022 Bulls show up. Anything less than the very best will result in us getting beaten, that's for sure

I hope London can win, but they have lost Dane Chisholm, and without him I don't think they will have the guile to get past Thunder, hope I am wrong

Not sure a playoff place is reachable this year for Thunder. An improvement on 11th certainly is.

Baby steps and getting better year on year is a sustainable way to go. We're a decent side with a fit 17. Don't have the depth that heartland teams do.

Not yet anyways.

Played only 4 of 11 games at home so far. So, I suppose a 50% record is a reasonable, targettable goal for the season if we can keep folk fit. Then kick on from there.

After 3 defeats in a row we needed that win, and over the moon we got it, lots of people predicted a broncos win so happy we proved people wrong, we have had a realy hard time of it with injurys to key players, 5 of them were back tonight, akuma ta'ai very experianced player playing his 1st game this season for us, alex foster signed from castleford pre season another experianced player was also back tonight, our 6 and 7 shorrocks and woods(captain) were also back and gallagher at 12 too, them 5 players are huge for us and all 5 were back tonight, still missing jack johnson, jesse dee, jay chaplehow, craig mullen and pat moran, been so unlucky with injurys so far, hopefuly now we will keep the squad together injury free though injurys are ofcourse part and parcel of the sport, im alot more optimistic for the rest of the season now with top players back from injury, onwards and upwards! Come on thunder!!
