We've almost reached the half way point in the league programme. The only clubs we haven't played yet are Newwcastle and Saturday's opp Whitehaven.

Haven took a whalloping at Widnes last weekend, and a couple of weeks back we whalloped Widnes. So we'll be strong favourites, but that kind of result extrapolation is a bit of nonsense anyway. We've got to go out there and do the business.

Of the XVII who beat Dewsbury, we're sure to be without Wildie, which is a blow. Other, unused members of last week's 20 man squad were Cuthbertson, Pickersgill and Kopczak. Presumably those three are all in the mix for a recall. Hepi made his debut and will be looking to make his mark.

We've heard Gill is getting back to fitness. Hopefully that's also true of Hardcastle and Gale.

But, inevitably though, the big talking point will be Ford. I imagine the coach will be keen to have a look at him.

Last chance for everyone to impress before the 21 and XVII are selected for the 1895 Final.

Haven round trip of 300 miles to be completely embarrassed, Not good for the game but it was nice to put some great moves together. especially up the slope. Nil was the best bit.
