Perhaps he’s going to play a few games to get him ready for the World Cup playing for Scotland.

Ryan Brierley, in his rôle as co-commentator for the Cornwall matches, recently said that “he is my Scotland captain”, inferring he would be playing.

That was my suspicion, saving himself for the World Cup.

That's the reason he signed for us,the same with Keenan Tomlinson(Jamaica) and not forgetting Knowles for his testimonial. I think we've been used, don't you🤔

Keenan Tomlinson has played regularly and done well. Knowles has played every game.

I know this subject been raised before but does anyone know what is happening with Ferguson Walton and Annakin? Why can't the club give us an update? If they have retired, out for the season or other reasons.I know someone mentioned it would give other teams an advantage but we are far past that now with only 2 wins,..........after all we are paying their contracts/wages. Most other clubs give information about injuries or otherwise

Can’t or won’t pass the head tests required to get on the field I heard.

Assume this must be the case. But if he really cannot pass the head tests for months, then he should retire for his own sake.

Can't, not won't.

Without knowing the full details of these tests it has been suggested that they are so rigorous in nature, and test certain characteristics that might not simply indicate injury, that quite a number of players in the league might fail them if they were compulsory for everyone at the start of the season.

By all reports DF has been desperate to get back playing as, without, he could be ruled out of the Scotland squad. I suspect that he would have simply retired by now if it weren't for the WC.

"Most clubs" don't, in fact. Just check out other forums, FB groups of other clubs and read their fans frustrations

If that's true that many players would fail the test at the start of the season, then the game has a far bigger problem than its admitting to.

Or the tests are poorly structured?

I believe that they assess some things in a way that the average RL might have struggled to pass even 20 years ago.

Anyway, it does appear that some players do struggle to get passed fit to play and not for the want of trying. I would hazard that none of the players who have been discussed will be out on the field for us again - no inside information, purely guesswork.

It seems Dale Ferguson has managed to pass some financial advisor exams whilst hes been off.

Not sure what that says about financial advisor exams if you can do that whilst under concussion protocols.

Read on here that Gabriel has a knee injury but expect he's probably been signed elsewhere. LF said at Knowles Testimonial Night that Blackmore playing with an injury.

Championship players can't sign for other clubs until the end of their contract. Gabriel has had a leg injury.

Nowt to stop them being tapped up by other clubs

Of course but the post said "already signed".

Details are important, or at least they are to a pedant like me.

LF said he was already putting two levels of contracts together for next season for players. So maybe agreed terms elsewhere might be more accurate.
