Wakefield Ram
Interesting to see Dale Ferguson helping with the warm up. Anyone know if this means a return to playing or just helping Sykes out? Edited June 13, 2022 by Wakefield Ram
Crown Flatter
Perhaps he’s going to play a few games to get him ready for the World Cup playing for Scotland. Ryan Brierley, in his rôle as co-commentator for the Cornwall matches, recently said that “he is my Scotland captain”, inferring he would be playing. Legs, Dews, Legs. That's the reason he signed for us,the same with Keenan Tomlinson(Jamaica) and not forgetting Knowles for his testimonial. I think we've been used, don't you

Heckydave
I know this subject been raised before but does anyone know what is happening with Ferguson Walton and Annakin? Why can't the club give us an update? If they have retired, out for the season or other reasons.I know someone mentioned it would give other teams an advantage but we are far past that now with only 2 wins,..........after all we are paying their contracts/wages. Most other clubs give information about injuries or otherwise
Rambo
Can’t or won’t pass the head tests required to get on the field I heard.

But if he really cannot pass the head tests for months, then he should retire for his own sake.

Without knowing the full details of these tests it has been suggested that they are so rigorous in nature, and test certain characteristics that might not simply indicate injury, that quite a number of players in the league might fail them if they were compulsory for everyone at the start of the season. By all reports DF has been desperate to get back playing as, without, he could be ruled out of the Scotland squad. I suspect that he would have simply retired by now if it weren't for the WC. 1 Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change. If that's true that many players would fail the test at the start of the season, then the game has a far bigger problem than its admitting to.

Or the tests are poorly structured? I believe that they assess some things in a way that the average RL might have struggled to pass even 20 years ago. Anyway, it does appear that some players do struggle to get passed fit to play and not for the want of trying. I would hazard that none of the players who have been discussed will be out on the field for us again - no inside information, purely guesswork. Wakefield Ram
It seems Dale Ferguson has managed to pass some financial advisor exams whilst hes been off. Not sure what that says about financial advisor exams if you can do that whilst under concussion protocols. the old nine ole
Didn't get to see too much rugby ... the real challenge was drinking San Miguel out of paper cups... who ever thought that would work!!! .... His work rate taking the ball in every set and making ground is good and doesn't seem to be affected by injury.
