This has come as a huge shock. It is hard to imagine the club without him.

Will be hard to replace his drive and enthusiasm.

Do you see it as a positive or concerning development?

I'll answer this and say like Tim I am gutted to see Alan go. His love for the game, determination has kept the club going for many year. Not only that he's been a brilliant administrator who has garnered respect from everyone he has worked with.

Ultimately the decision to rebrand was the best thing to keep the club going as it has meant new investment into the club. Going forward the club has big plans so not a concerning development.

Presumably he might still be involved with the Bears, just not the Hurricanes?

Apparently this site says I "won the day" here on 23rd Jan, 19th Jan, 9th Jan also 13th December, whatever any of that means. Anyway, 4 times in a few weeks? The forum must be going to the dogs - you people need to seriously up your game. Where's Dutoni when you need him?

Yes the Bears (now in Midlands Premier) and the 3 community clubs that sit under them (2x in Coventry, 1x in Birmingham) are still run by Alan.

If this is genuinely amicable then fine... If caused by tensions then it doesn't bode well.

Genuinely amicable.

Boomer will continue with his roles with the Bears

If it hadn't been for Mike the Pro game in the Midlands would have perished.

He has been a breath of fresh air. He has exiting plans and I am looking forward to the future with Mike at the helm.
