Jake Trueman to Hull FC

Recommended Posts

Decent signing:

Hull FC have announced the signing of Castleford Tigers halfback Jake Trueman on an three-year deal from the 2023 Betfred Super League season.

Trueman, 23, made his senior debut against St Helens in 2017, before scoring an impressive hat-trick against Wigan Warriors at the DW Stadium on only his second appearance for the Tigers.

From the official statement on Hull's website:

"His latest performance saw him score a sensational individual try against Huddersfield Giants, but it was in the same game that his evening was cut short by a knee injury, one that Hull FC will be helping him rehabilitate ahead of the 2023 season."

and from Brett Hodgson:

“Of course, it’s unfortunate with Jake’s knee injury, but he’s in good hands with the medical staff around him and everyone here at Hull will be working hard on his rehabilitation programme to make sure he’s ready and raring to go for us at the start of the 2023 season.”

Thought he was going to be a real star when he burst onto the  scene but he hasn’t really kicked on from those first couple of seasons.maybe the move will see him realise the undoubted talen when he’s overcome his jnjury.

At Hull? He'll ether flounder or get any injury no doubt.
