Is Woolf on his way to the NRL?

I thought it was a done deal that he was going to the Dolphins to be assistant to Wayne Bennett.

Bennett said this week that he had offered Paul Green an assistant job (prior to this weeks sad news), so maybe Woolf hasn’t/ hadn’t accepted?

Most clubs have numerous assistants so I wouldn't read anything into that.

Yes, he’s going.

Bennett on the same podcast said he offered Woolf and Sam Burgess jobs and Brown has also said it.

I`ve read before that Woolf - apart from being an astute coach - it is his links with Tonga and potential to attract Tongan heritage players that makes him especially sought after.

Could be a master stroke by Bennett if Tonga go deep or win the World Cup. Could be a conga-line of players looking to link up with Woolf at the Dolphins.

Well, yes, he has a history with Tongan players so will potentially be able to attract some of those but also, three years coaching in Super League so will have an understanding of good players here, too, and given their struggles to sign players so far, both of those markets could be fruitful for the Fins.
