What a game! That was fantastic. Someone please just take SL to 14 so we can get the full-time teams out and have this every week. Craig Lingard deserves the next SL job after this.

We have 14 teams ready forSL imo leaving a semi pro comp beneath but you are proposing no promotion by that statement and a return to franchising

So who would you pick Salop a Craig Lingard coached team with the SL Funding or a Fev team getting the funding with McDermott in Charge?

Sorry Fev fans but with the squad Fev assembled the team has not produced the goods, Batley have just out enthused them.

Just listened to McD, sounded like a resignation speech.

Awesome from Batley. Even if they get pumped next week, which they will, they've exceeded al expectations and had an incredible season.

Featherstone were dire, weren't they. They need a complete clear out of their "Dad's Army" and complete rebuild, starting with a new coach.

Honestly, what a club Batley Bulldogs are. If we’re honest, they shouldn’t have any right being within 80 minutes of Super League but they’re consistently one of the best sides in the Championship and the way they’re run is surely the blueprint for everyone outside of Super League.

I know people want big names in Super League but I’d love Batley to come up.

The serious question is obviously: if Batley do the unthinkable next week, will they be promoted or will Toulouse survive?! 😳

If the winners of the play-off game's ground doesn't meet the SL's standard (minimum 5000 capacity with 2000 seats undercover plus other bits and pieces) then the runners up are promoted - just looked it up.

Or they could move to a ground that does meet that criteria.

Sorry to say that Batley will never be in superleague and probably don't want to be in superleague and have over achieved again and credit to the Batley club. Fev have spent a huge amount and massively under achieved. I would keep Toulouse in superleague next season and hopefully Leigh win and have 13 teams in superleague and if a team wins the championship next year, don't relegate anyone and have 14 teams the year after, No point relegating someone for the sake of it, needs to be a new way of thinking and growing the game

Just here say what an amazing club Batley are year after year. Well done.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Mount Pleasant will probably meet that already and if not then Kevin will have a plan

Lingard to Fev as their next coach? Stranger things have happened

Odd number of teams? The clubs would hate that and won't vote for it.

Well done Batley. Must the most popular team in the game and if we must lose they’re a team that makes the loss more palatable.

no chance of winning next week but they shouldn’t care. Leigh deserve to go up and Batley deserve all the credit they are getting.
