First a player and then a coach, it was as a referee that he had most marked his minds. His legendary charisma and his way of arbitrating such singular encounters have marked a generation. Julien Rascagnères refereed several English championship games but also leading international matches such as a Great Britain - Australia in 1982 with more than 40,000 people in the stadium.
