I remember in the 80's watching the ARL - cuertosy of Micron Video - that good kickers in Australia were as scarce as rocking horse droppings, but like every other facet of Rugby League over there they work and work and work on deficiencies till they get them right. I know they are hence the higher percentages in the SL. I am saying theoretically the NRL should have better goal kickers as they have more goal kickers, SL Have 12 times whilst the NRL has 16 (17) teams. Martin is a very good goal kicker, a goal kicker of that quality will win you a couple of games a season and I'm surprised by how many SL sides in recent years have been happy to settle for very inconsistent ones. 1 I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly. I suspect that was because of the weird kicking style employed by most Aussie goal kickers back then of leaning the ball forward toward the goal and kicking it on the end.
