Plenty of effort from Batley but some poor decision making when they got in decent positions. Will be interesting to see how Leigh cope with the step up next season after a season of pummelling part-time teams.

Could get messy this 2nd half.

They splashed out to get straight back intto the SL and it was only going to end this way with that Squad. 
Good effort from Batley .

Good effort by Bartley. Certainly in the game for 40 minutes and never gave up trying, but in the end the gulf between part time and full time players showed. Now Leigh have to get a side together that will stay up.

   Leigh are the best Championship team i have seen but the Batley forwards never took a backward step.Held them down the middle but as i feared were undone on the edges.Congratulations Leigh but what a season for The Gallant Youths.

Let’s get one thing straight. Batley we’re amazing. I happily bet against Leigh giving 42. Glad I won. 
 

They and Barrow have been fantastic
