I would like to see height / weight stats of some of the positions of the big teams....particularly these big forwards we here about for Samoa/Tonga and how they stack up to England.

I will have a look tomorrow while I pretend to do some Google Cloud analysis at work.

Good stuff SR.

Are you going to do club representation across the 16 squads?

And competition representation?

I've often wanted to do this in a few different contexts before but unfortunately a lot of the official profile data is very unreliable.

Best example would be Nelson Asofa-Solomona - the man mountain is listed as being 115kg and 200cm tall, in this interview Nelson himself states that in 2020 he was playing at 130kg but previously played at 135kg. Personally I don't think Nelson has been 115kg since he was 12 years old, it's a shame though because this type of thing would be interesting to compare.

Yes, I agree.  Tom Burgess is always listed as 120 and he said in an interview last year he is 130.

It is probably meaningless without accurate data.

Whoops I didn't even link the interview before.

But yeah it's disappointing because this is the type of stuff us RL nerds would love to have an idea of, no matter how insignificant it may seem.

I was thinking about doing stats on players heights. I’m not sure if it’s worth it though as height isn’t really too important and I doubt I’ll find anything interesting.

So, it is 135 from the NRL and 237 from 'other'.

I am surprised that the NRL only supplied 80% more than Super League - I thought they would be double at least.

I’m surprised no one else is nerding out over Lebanon having both the youngest squad and the oldest player!

Also have the second youngest player and the only other 18 year old Jackson Rahme who is born in December 2003 a few months older than Isaiya Katoa.

Bradford and Wigan, same number of players.

Featherstone have 5 I think.

Any chance of the rest from 1 to 6 representatives? 😉
