Heartbreaking. But a class game. Only one tackle restart, very few penalties, excellent refereeing, just honest to goodness speed, skill and brutality. Brilliant. To think that a top Premier League footballer will probably earn more in a month than some of these guys in their whole careers makes me almost want to weep.

Game of the tournament so far. I wanted to go to this one but couldn't make it to St Helens on a Tuesday night, pity as it deserved a full house that game.

That said, I don't think either team showed anything that will scare England.

Absolute top-class rugby league football from both Papua New Guinea and Tonga and the former can consider themselves so unlucky, especially with the disallowed try following the shoulder charge.

It has to be the most exciting of this year's World Cup so far.

Harsh on the Kumuls but an entertaining try to win an entertaining game. 

I thought Papua New Guinea attacked the opposing line better and Tonga rode their luck there.

Tonga need to improve if they want to make the final. I'm sure they can improve as the tournament progresses.
