Whilst I agree with some of the sentiment, we can't just have a hissy fit when Scotland lose and want them kicked out.

That wasn't the view when they lucked out with a few English and Aussies of standard and drew with NZ, or gave England a decent game, or played in a few of the best games of the 2013 WC.

We have a lot of weak nations. We need to fund them and get them playing more and more.

Another example of why the World Cup has too many teams. Sorry but I just don’t understand what having a team full of Englishmen and Aussies labelling them selves as “Scotland” does for our game. They have no fans, offer nothing and get battered every week, Completely pointless side.

There are fans up here, wish there was more. Hard watch.

P****d off with all this negativity tbh years ago when either South Africa or the all blacks, I forget which put something like 150 on Namibia it was celebrated as a fine display, let’s enjoy Australia and stop slagging off this Scotland team, ok they’re going nowhere but some of these comments are out of order imo

Wales, hahahaha, Wales almost won mate what are you on about.

That’s what I’m saying. A so called underdog who show commitment, skill, are well coached and mentally strong and focused. Regardless of quality of the opposition Wales had all those in abundance and Scotland have shown none. From what I’ve seen so far Wales round have caused Australia more problems and certainly the score would be s lot closet

Don't know which is more embarrassing, the empty stadium or the awful " Scottish " performance. This is doing the competition or the game as a whole no good.

88 to go.

I don't think this a bad advert for Rugby League to be fair. There's been some quality on show from the Aussies.

I think it should be a wake up call to the powers that be though.

99% of those lads won't be going back to Scotland to tell family and friends about playing against Nathan Cleary and Josh Addo Carr. They'll be going home to Western Sydney, Brisbane and West Yorkshire.

Serbia, USA, Canada etc would be much better off if they were getting belted instead.

Isn't this what all the tier 1 v tier 2 games would look like if it wasn't for heritage players?
