How is that a knock-on by the Italian? Went backwards having been knocked out by the Fijian.

Exactly. The refs seemed to go into the check with the assumption that because a knock on had been given it was just a question of by whom. Why didn't it occur to them that if Fiji hadn't knocked on, no body had? 🙄

That's SD, not HD, isn't it?

Minimum yellow

Seems a minimum of "Don't do it again, it's naughty"!

Taken together with the knock on call it adds to the conspiracy theorists (like me 😜) who thinks that the dominant sides seem to get more calls by default, which they certainly don't need.

(Not that I'm suggesting calls should be based on need...)

And it's absolutely typical that they ignored the Real Fans by not offering an analogue broadcast option.

In 405-line black & white.

And ignoring those of us still using the Baird system.

That was a sensational last ditch failure to score before the HT hooter

Oh my word… he’s just bombed an opportunity for the best try EVA!!!

That would have gone into the RWC highlights reel for a decade at least!

Commentator is absolutely mangling the pronunciation of Campagnolo.

He's obviously not a cyclist.

Commentator is your ex scrum half Craig Murdock. But he is from Whitehaven so English isn’t his first language.

iPlayer is a better picture.

Correct, even on a slow connection. Video streaming codecs are very efficient these days.

Plus, if you watch the streamed option, you will be automatically counted as a viewer, as opposed to watching the broadcast on whatever platform.

Who is lead commentator? Sure he's just calked Wakeham, Wakeford now.  Gledhill is better than some of these commentating.

And he keeps calling Turuva "Tuave". Turuva isn't even difficult.

Ok, own up. Which forum expert designed the Fiji jerseys by driving a Land Rover through white emulsion then over some black shirts?

I think it’s a cracking design, as are Samoa and the Cook Islands

Good job the games isn't in Shrewsbury either or the forum would be in meltdown over the pronunciation of either and Shrewsbury, FFS.

Worked in Shrewsbury for about a year. Even the locals in the office disagreed about how it was pronounced.
