Elliott Kear really is a legend of the Welsh game. He always puts his hand up and always gives his all. If only his contemporaries like Flower and Dudson had done the same for Wales over the years.

An amazing servant; and seems a genuinely nice and humble bloke.

Enjoyed that game, but Tonga aren't as good as 2017 so shouldn't bother England if they meet in the semis.

Ever since 2017, they've been telling themselves they were "robbed" last time, so they'll be motivated, even if it is by complete and utter baloney.

Terrible refereeing, I know it’s her first game but she shouldn’t be reffing another game after this display.

Absolute nonsense, as a referee for more than 30 years at all levels I can say with a degree of knowledge that she did ok

No offence to our SH members.

For me it was a typical SH ref display, when you get a SH v NH match up.

Male or female is nothing to do with it.

Rugby Union the only game in the world were the spectators handle the ball more than the players.

Spot on.

I thought there was some inconsistency in the six again calls but apart from that a good refereeing performance.

Some of the hyperbole on here and the language used to describe her performance is just ludicrous.

Most of the tries have just been a result of Welsh fatigue and ridiculous size mismatches.

The mismatch in possession due to repeated six agains when defending then repeated ball spills when attacking has been frustrating to watch.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

The penalty count was 8 - 3 in Wales favour.

BBC keep saying it's job done for Tonga.

If PNG beat Cook Islands by 6 points, that means they're both on 2pts with 0pd.

PNG win by 16 against Wales and Cook Islands win by 16 against an off-the-boil Tonga, that means they're all on 4pts with +16pd.

Job certainly not over for Tonga.

This will all mean nothing though if PNG hammer Cook Islands tomorrow! (16 points at the bookies).

Ref was shocking. Tonga allowed to lay on all game. Wales didn’t have to lay on to give 6 again.

Gosh funny how we see things  I thought Wales were almomst always slowing ptb whether through lying on or piddling as if being held in...

Plus they seemed to get away with a few forward passes as they tired...

Having said that wales deserve praise. Although they hardly got out their half 2nd half and score reflected the game.

TV commentators saw no probs with referee.

I didn't hear John Kear criticise her.

The various UK coaches must be aware of the Aus refs expectations at the PTB and interpretation of flat passes. If not, they are not doing their job.
