France have played the second half with two second rows at centre, I don't think it's the coaching of edge defence it's the fact that France only have one real winger, Romano is lost on the wing, same as Laguerre,

In 2013 we got robbed against Samoa with their players knocking out our halves illegaly and the ref, heritage samoan Henry Perenara, doing nothing.

This time were not robbed because Theyre better but the ref is still a lying piece of garbage. Mark my words, if England wins this cup despite this bias Id demand the nationality

I’ve stopped enjoying this game, there was no way France were going to win but this ref is certainly bending in Samoa’s favour at every 50/50 call

A 50 point hammering & yet we must have set a new forum record for the number of whinges in a 80 minute game & that record had a very high bar.

Some of the comments on the ref are way over the top

I agree the ref is poor, and you can include Robert Hicks along with him, but I think it’s true that Samoa actually are a Trent tiny bit better than France today

I’ve been impressed with Samoa , I can see them turning over Tonga

I  can't see it myself.  I think Tonga will have far too much in the middle for them.

At least it’s a game we can have a debate about in terms of who’s gonna win and it’s a great clash , which is good and really needed

Go on then, make the case for that try with both a  knock-on and a knock-out.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Are you quite sure about that?

England made Samoa look like school kids ad gave them no platform to play off. Tonga appear to be a superior team to Samoa from every minute of the World Cup that I have seen them both play.

Agree, Harold. Anyone betting anything more than a couple of quid on France is nuts.

I had £5 on France. I'll just go and take a long hard look at myself in the mirror.

It is.  But the quarters will be full of intrigue.  Can England continue their run, can New Zealand avenge the 2017 shock against Fifji, can Lebanon give Australia a game and who will win the blockbuster game between Samoa and Tonga.

It will be a great weekend of Rugby.
