DEANO
I suggest the kneets will get nothing out of this and if the council are running it it will run at a loss. There will be zilch media coverage apart from the local rag which is based nowhere near york sometimes you have to take a step backwards to move forward
Stirlin
If the club put as much into it as the shirt launch then I can see it being a success.

Success at the Bash S is all down to the RFL and what they have got planned, has nowt to do with York all you can DO is put in is as much as you can to beat us FEV 1

Surely the RFL have rented the ground from the council/stadium Co for the weekend? Good point although I expect the club would assist if asked. Something the club really need to work on is the social media interaction with fans, not just our own fans but opposing teams who ask questions about the weekend. The RFL will only have dealt with SMC and GLL , not the council who have enough on there plate which is why York and many other councils around the country use them . Stop being so negative , if you assume our Chairman is going to sit on his hands and not do anything to not only promote the bash but also shine a light on the stadium and York in general as a good place to hold the bash this year you are deluded. 2

Stirlin
A quote from someone on the General topics forums. '' We're all passionate about our own clubs, home towns, etc. We might mock them occasionally ourselves but will still get defensive about them when others have a go and perhaps don't know when to stop.
