Well, the 2023 season went by in a whirl!

Our newsflow via the Outlaws website during the season was primarily limited to match reports for our senior teams which is why you havent seen much on here during the "live" stage of the season with most of our social media news etc going out via Facebook/Instagram/Twitter etc.

We will be releasing quite a few news items over the off season leading up to the 2024 campaign, starting with this latest story on our recent scholarship signings created through our close partnership with Nottingham Trent University

Nottingham Outlaws received a Christmas boost over the holiday period when they received no fewer than four nearly-new metal containers from T-SQUARED, a specialist  design company that delivers complex  design and build projects for the pharmaceutical and other high-technology industries.

Two of the smaller units will be used on-site as storage containers for various items that the club uses in training and on match days.

The two larger containers will be converted to changing rooms, doubling the changing space available on-site , enabling the club to play multiple fixtures at the ground on the same day. Read more about it on the Outlaws website here.....

After eight years of Yorkshire League action the Outlaws have taken the decision to move across to the newly revamped Midlands Premier League in 2024.  The men’s Development squad will continue to play matches in the Midlands Merit League but will also, for the first time, join the expanded Yorkshire Merit League to diversify its fixture list.

Havent seen the final make up yet Paul, the expression of interest list contained 9 teams (including Outlaws) in the Premier and the same number in the Merit League, but hopefully the full list will be published by the end of January

Nottingham Outlaws are pleased to announce that their men’s first team fixtures for the 2024 season have now been finalised and released for public review.

As revealed previously, its all change at the Outlaws as the men’s team have switched competition from the Yorkshire league and have returned to their roots in the Midlands Premier Division.

The new look schedule sees them once again ply their trade against Midlands rivals such as Birmingham Bulldogs, Coventry Bears, Sherwood Wolf Hunt and Telford Raiders and a return of the Nottinghamshire Cup which will see the Outlaws face-off against fellow Nottinghamshire rivals Wolf Hunt.

However, before the Midlands action starts there is the welcome return of the Heroes Trophy which resumes after a six year sojourn and sees the Outlaws look to retain the magnificent trophy against The Royal Artillery in a tasty season opener at Lenton Lane.

I like the look of that Midlands Prem lineup. We might finally be recovering to the levels of about 10-15 years ago.

"I am the avenging angel; I come with wings unfurled, I come with claws extended from halfway round the world. I am the God Almighty, I am the howling wind. I care not for your family; I care not for your kin. I come in search of terror, though terror is my own; I come in search of vengeance for crimes and crimes unknown. I care not for your children, I care not for your wives, I care not for your country, I care not for your lives." - (c) Jim Boyes - "The Avenging Angel"
