Subjective

Apparently that is today's word

What did England in the semi was 4 relatively easy games before they played Samoa , their quarter against Tonga readied them for England

Wouldn't have mattered , the Aussies could put together a team the night before and beat whoever else made the final

Anyway I enjoyed the games I went to and will be saving up for 3 years to go to France

Agree with much of that. TBH I think NZ & Aus are very close, with Aus just edging them. And then Tonga, Samoa + England very close. Behind those five are Fiji and PNG and then a big drop to Lebanon & France.

Of course they wouldn't.

It would be like watching an Origin team against a Super League team.

Simply not true.

England beat NZ more than once in the last 10 years, NZ beat Aus more than once, etc.

Last World Cup final, the game was very close.

Hmm, not sure. England were very bad that day. Both tactically (if it's an English word) and mentally.

I agree that Samoa was understrength and would like to see more of this (new) rivalry.

When England were at their best and Samoa at their lowest, Eng destroyed them.

When England was at their lowest, they went to golden point.

However, Samoa deserved to be through.

Fair. Hopefully they play each other a bunch more so we have more to judge off!

Love to see a game in either Tonga or Samoa...

Go do something else, you clearly don’t like RL.

Why? Because I like other sports? You were the person who was 'pragmatic' about England losing last week, I still haven't gotten over it, but I don't like RL. Ok.

NZ are just hanging in by a thread , they have one team to compete against 3 Aussie teams

Honestly don't agree. England lost to a team that had a player in the bin and lost a player to HIA who was their only specialist hooker and had lost what three starters since the beginning of the cup? Very close the two teams, but full strength Samoa vs full strength England, Samoa win 7/10 times imo...

I love how they think England played bad but they had every chance to win that game. Penalty count was in there favour and Samoa had to players going off for HIA and a yellow card

Well, I was thinking...

England and NZ are better than Samoa. I'm not saying England should have won, but maybe they would have given Aus a game.

It's their fault (as they had a terrible game in the sf) and they'll have to work, but we're not so behind.

Moreover, knowing we could have won... hurts more.

If only there'd been some way for England and NZ to get to the final ....mmm.....  Well, I guess we'll never know.

But no cigar , like this time , and the time before , and again , and again

It's a simple numbers game , until you start to match the number of juniors playing the game ( not just academies ) then you will always be behind

The players from all three champion teams plus Samoa are still out on the pitch, feeling the vibe.

Wish I was there.
