I was flooded with optimism and excitement after a draw that could easily have been a win against Super League (for now) Wakefield. It's been played since 1921 and of the 69 meetings, Oldham have won it 46 to Rochdale's 21 with 2 drawn. Also, over the last 10 meetings the average winning margin has been just 9 points.
