Weather looking fair for the “friendly” 👹 and all the best for our new look team.  Hope we shall have good spectator turn-out to silence some of the ‘enemy’, particularly if we can continue our Law Cup victories!

Anyone know which club is booked in for our third pre-season friendly referred to in the twitter above?

Sadly, 18-14 loss after leading with sound defence for most of the game - hope it was a good game, with good support and with much promise for the season.

Great game well played by both sides. Goal kicking was the difference Hornets missed two, and Riddy had his usual reliable kicking boots on. The Hornets seem to have pulled together a good squad on a much reduced budget.

A good run out. Great defence in mid field. i do not remember Oldham breaking our middle line. We did not deserve to loose in the last few minutes.

Our game with the neighbours on 7 April may be a noisy one:

"We also hope to see as many as you as possible at the Good Friday game against Rochdale.

"Great Friday – as we have called it – marks the start of a new era for this 147-year-old institution and we want you to celebrate a momentous day with us.
