In the last 10/15 minutes the Bulls had taken off all our first team players and the ones left are mainly from the academy.

Obviously, but we still started to play a different style of rugby.  Reckon we didn’t have the confidence to do so until that point

Think because your forwards got on top it laid a platform and improved how you played. Good luck this year and hope to see you back in the Championship.

Out of interest does anybody know if Lawford the Bradford scrum half is a relation to Dean Lawford the ex Leeds/Dewsbury and Batley player??

His son. One or two bulls fan’s reckon he’s not ready for championship week in week out, maybe we try get him on loan.

He’s not looks like he’s got the making to be a decent little player but rather on the small side hasn’t yet filled out. When you look that we’ve still dec patton to come back have lilley and homles when’s he getting a game. Probably say George Flanagan jr is aahead of him aswell with giants signing him for next year sure they’ll want us to play him to get couple games under belt with some rough tough championship players.

so personally best move for lawford is season long loan in league one will do him no harm be playing competive against some league one men.

A worthwhile run out for both teams I would say....  Things went against us at times - a knock on leading to 20+ tackles in our own 20 ..... Sin-bin that killed the game as a contest .... Poor discipline at times which we can NOT afford in league games and a poor referee who looked to have the 'L' plates (and that's being kind) .... Bradford fully deserved their win and think they'll go well in 2023 ... But NOT title or promotion challengers ..... See you in the Championship next year hopefully

Thought he looked a very decent player. Hope he does well as not many good halfbacks in the game at the minute.

Enjoyed the game, had a bit more zip about it than the Boxing Day game. As always plenty of effort but we need to be more creative, not sure either winger actually got a pass of the end of a move and we could try high kicks as well as grubbers. Thought Beckett fully deserved his MOM and backed up well for the final try. Collins? at half back looked promising and overall with a full side out think we will do well in League One.

Understand financially why we play Bradford and Huddersfield but not sure how it affects the players confidence.

Why not!! .. we have a good relationship with the Bulls!! ... He looks a great prospect and would develop well under Finnys tutelage ! ... a win win for all involved!
