According to Oddschecker, Thomas Makinson is 10/1 but Tommy Makinson is 11/1 for top tryscorer.

Sky’s team of the year odds are interesting, though I will stay away from those.

Ah - the Makinson twins.

Super League Top 6 Finish Betting Odds | Oddschecker https://www.oddschecker.com/rugby-league/england/super-league/top-6-finish

Couple of things I noticed from this lot....

Ipape joint favourite for MOS @ 16/1 in a team expected to finish towards the bottom?🤔

According to Oddschecker Leigh can't finish bottom as they haven't bothered to post odds for that to happen.

Catalans are 9/4 to finish bottom 6. Personally I think they're a far better bet to finish bottom 6 than Salford who are 2/5. But I'm sure I'll be proved wrong!

Only Cas & the 2 Hull clubs have odds for a top 6 finish.

I think it's fair to say they need to update their website over the next 4 weeks.😁

Looking at the betting, who do you fancy for top tryscorer and man of Steel markets?

I haven’t looked at top try scorer or MoS but i did see that Saints are 10/1 to do the double (CC & GF). I usually never put a bet on Saints because i don’t trust them but i might be tempted to put £5 E/W, which will probably cast a spell hoodoo on them.
When the pandemic took hold i had Newman as top SL try scorer £5 E/W at either 14/1 or 16/1. He did finish top try scorer but Betfred said it was null & void as the whole season hadn’t been completed. They then at one stage they refused to give me my £10 refund, cheeky buggers.

You’ve got to look at the points system for the Man of Steel and there’s a history of sympathy points going out to players in losing teams. You often see a player, no matter how much of a scoreline their team has had put on them, scoring a point and I reckon Ipape will pick up points fairly regularly this year, partly through that but also when Leigh win games. He’s a decent shout for the shortlist, most definitely.

Still not over Brodie getting it eh?😁 But I get your point about Sintellins having 13 superstars (as do Wiggin) so it's not really fair on either of those clubs.👍

Yes, I’m devastated a Saints player didn’t win Man Of Steel in a year in which we won our fourth consecutive championship. Jeez, some people.
