You talk about Sammut G but according to a raiders fan

Sammut doesn't look happy or particularly interested  I think he was shocked nobody came in for him after that tweet about availability late last year and signed back on as a last resort:kolobok_grin:

At least Daley, Glover and Thompson will be  back. Maybe Clarkson? What about Butterworth? Been  a year now to sort out his shoulder.

Yes , I was hoping to have seen him by now , looked good in the friendlies last year.

Looks like it's a tenner on Sunday, that should put a few more on the gate.

Looks like that promo is all exhausted now.

This might be controversial but I hope the reduce tickets end up on the hands of those fancying giving the game a go for the first time, as opposed to folks who would be there any way.

Let's hope it attracts any new supporters who have been thinking of going to watch the knights, but also might be also to do with Heworth playing at the same time at Hunslet and i believe that a lot of knights supporters are going over to Hunslet to watch Heworth instead this Sunday.

Only place I saw it promoted was when Jorvik Radio put it on the Knights Supporters Facebook page, so chances are a it'll be people who were going anyway. Can't have been many tickets at that price.

York play Barrow twice a year. Heworth very rarely play pro opposition in the challenge cup, less so one with such significance to a club legend like Ken Sykes. It's stupid that the games have been scheduled to clash.

I reckon there's have been at least another 200 on each gate had they been played at a time when people could get to both.

don,t think supporters of barrow or hunslet would have been too impressed with moving either time or date of their fixture, so in fact the attendance could have been lower

I've asked the Hunslet supporter and he said it would have been fine.

It was a special offer from Jorvik Radio, there was only about 8 tickets at that price.

York v Barrow is on OurLeague, so either take your phone to the Heworth game and multi-task, or wear ear-muffs at the Heworth game then watch the York game when you get home.

Agree it's a very unfortunate clash though.
