Can't be long before we get the usual early season rant about how boring and predictable Super League is this year.

The last time a Saints legend was coach the fans turned nasty on him pretty sharpish after a few bad results.

I wonder how long Wellens has before the same happens to him?

Interesting point. Like Cunningham, Wellens has a statue of himself at his finest as a player.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Early days but Leigh performing how a lot of people who saw them last year expected. Great win, plus ran Catalan close away and a good game against Salford. I can see them pushing for a play-off spot, even if not actually getting one.

I just can't see how Wakey survive unless Cas continue down this path.

Just got home, if you are a Saints or a Leigh fan in attendance tonight you have just had the pleasure of watching a very good game of Rugby League Football.

12 nill after 18 mins I thought that Saints are going to steam roll it, but this Leigh team has determination in bundles and such a team spirit, and well done Mr Lam he has had is detractors but this team can also play some exiting football.

I said a lot earlier, and even Leigh suppurters dismissed me, that Leigh would win a few this year.

They're probably not trying to tempt fate. Anyone who saw them last year would have predicted the same, they had a very strong squad and have made some smart additions. Add in whole crowd desperate to do well and degsy's fireworks displays, it's no wonder they've started well. Can see 6-9th finish.

After tonight it could well be Cas....they looked woeful.....no one seemed to care bar a few of the younger ones....the look old, tired and jaded

Leythers always start off as a gobby bunch about how no way they are going down (this time) but do again.

They started off from their promotion about how they were in a better place, but obviously didn't believe it.

My backing them to win a few games brought out their true feelings.

Actually it was not cold, I took my jacket off and stood and watched in a shirt and jumper, and I am an owd git.

But yes it was a fantastic atmosphere.

Your carer really needs to do a better job of looking after you H 😂

Glad you enjoyed it...looking forward to a potential 'Saints in crisis' feel about the place over the next week

Padge the Oracle, you can take Mystic Megs place  ow that she has just passed away.  I still think that we are a bit light on numbers with 27 players, I would keep Shorrocks though in an instance if Wigan would let us, he performed far better than some who ran out at the DW last night.

But thanks for your sentiments.
