A post from the Fev fans facebook page. To put in to context, a number of Fax fans stay away from Fev because a Fev supporter put one of our fans in a wheelchair for the rest of his life, now Fev fans threaten to boycot the return fixture because the Fax fans that did turn up to watch yesterdays game had the audacity to complain about the coach getting egged. I was going to say i were surprised how many people liked and agreed with the post but in all honesty I'm not surprised in the slightest.

I’ve been told by a Police Officer that the perpetrator of that attack is known to the police but that until someone comes forward to help by making a statement there’s nothing they can do

There was a link to twitter on page one that showed around a dozen kids, at least 2 of them female. This was taken on someone's phone and obviously passed around. There was 1 person on there with the latest Rovers sweatshirt/Hoodie. Looks like that twitter post has been removed.

The ones apart from those 4 were running off before any objects were thrown, or that is how I interpreted it.

They won't have been at the game as they would have had to pay to get in.

You have dished out a thousand free kids tickets, how do you stop them getting in? Last season Leigh kids got in without an adult.

Kids have to be accompanied by an adult. I have seen kids challenged when their parents/adult have been 15 yards away.

Inside the ground there is no requirement to be with with the adult.

So one adult could take in 6 kids?

I watched no challenge btw, do they have to enter through a specific gate?

My guess would be you are right, I don't take that much notice.

I could not say they they are all challenged, or that it happens every game... just what I have seen in the past.

Because I travel a good 30 minutes I am normally in early, so wouldn't see all local kids turn up.

It has just let me take a single u16 ticket to checkout for the sum total of £0 for the york game and no mention of adult accompaniment.  A good chunk of This age group respect nothing and nobody, not just in Fev.

I just assumed it was the usual falling out which then escalated to fans fighting with each other , seen it loads of times

The Cas fans were abusing some of their players, one of the players partners took exception and it resulted in an angry exchange between said player and some fans.

A bit like the Junior Sau incident with Salford's scrotes a few years back.
