Wire , when they played Salford at home , if Salford had scored first after the break they would have gone on to ' paste ' Warrington as they did with Hull

Really not Impressed with Wire so far

Not impressed? You'd have been suicidal watching us last year!!

Dudson won’t play, but should be back next week. We have great strength in depth with our props but have Dudson, Bullock, Harrison & McGuire missing and Philbin having his first game back for 9 months after his ACL.

I’m not confident with this one.

That doesnt make sense, if Dudson is not playing surely you would have Bullock in the squad otherwise it leaves you light on the bench.

Bullock has a broken thumb, 4-6 weeks out, Dudson has been brought in to the squad to have him 'in and around' the playing group.

Harrison has a scan on his knee next week, not sure if its the same knee he had his ACL on, but he's seeing a specialist in London on it - so there must be some concern there.

You mean after the Leigh , Salford game ? , Indeed I thought we were poor with ball in hand , that has improved since

What a fair weather moaner!

You could follow Wigan with that attitude, we'd never be able to pick you out in that crowd of sore winners.

Wire win by 18 points unfortunately, but hopefully by no more than that.

I think Leigh have an even chance of winning this game Budgie, in many people's eye's they are still the Championship team that has been promoted and expected to struggle, if the opposition player's and coaches - and the fans - believe this they are in for a rude awakening. There is a lot of experience in this team, they are playing an expansive game and the defence is solid, really looking forward to watching this evening.

Agree Harry , a good ' base ' of players brought up with us and some experience ( but not too old like in previous years ) and some solid quality SL players in Mulhearn,Holmes thrown in for good measure , just a shame we couldn't have kept hold of McDonnell

Just got to keep them all fit and we'll be fine IMO

Yep, 2 years after the Wolf Cubs were booked to appear!

I figured I would get a quip from you on that post......

For what it is worth I've watched the Leigh game/highlights etc. and they are playing good rugby and I don't think they will be demoted although I don't know how much depth they have once the injuries start....but i think they will make it.

The game jerseys are a little goofy but acceptable but the rest of it e.g. tracksuits etc. are right off the wall and lets just face it...they are overtly feminine.  Did you buy a tracksuit Harry (and be honest)?

No not for me K'man, I still have my Cherry and White Hooped Retro jersey which will come out when the weather becomes more Clement.

Happy I didn't disappoint with the reply.

Demoted?

If Demoted do they become just your average alley cat. Its relegation they are trying to avoid which they should do.

You're doing a lot of posting Elbow seems more than you  usually do, is this nervous energy you are trying to rid of before tonight's game?

If I was you I would save some of it for later on, me thinks you are going to need it😉

Too old to be nervous just lots of down time. And a league game against a competetive leigh is something I look forward to and beating the town of my birth is always good 😁

Can't help but feel this should have been the televised game. Should be a cracker with Wire to win by a whisker.

I think in hindsight Sky would have it on, but they're always reluctant to put too many on for the newly promoted club though as there is always the uncertainty as to how they will perform. I'm expecting more Leigh games on TV in the second half of the season if we continue to play as we have done.
