Is it Catalans' year?

Recommended Posts

With five wins out of five before today's trip to Leeds, is it Catalans year? Their away win against Wigan showed a side with real bottle and as the weather gets better you'd expect them to become even tougher at home.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Yes, I am 100% confident they will win the competition.

Is it Catalans' year?

I'd be very happy to see Wolves v Les Dracs in the GF.

Almost any combination of those that haven't won it so far would do though.

Catalan do look a good bet for the OP is has to be said.

Leeds played high risk high reward stuff and it paid off...really impressive when it's really still the start of the season and tmist of their things stick .....if they can defend better they are real contenders ...

BB my post was about Les Dracs not Leeds.

Yeah I know.... I was saying my reason why I think Cats looked less potent /looked off .....in my opinion they weren't allowed to play to their strength like the other games because of Leed's whacky game plan

I thought it looked like Catalans took their foot of the pedal and then just weren't able to get back into it.

Leeds' defence doesn't look good enough to make up for when their whacky game plan doesn't work the way it was intended

A lot was made of the yellow card but I think they just went to pieces when May limped off. Losing Goudemand and being down to two subs for a whole half was a killer.

Yes...their goal line defence in particular looks really fragile....not sure they scramble in a secure way and regualey get their numbers wrong on ...maybe lack of a captain's leadership ?

Or maybe they are playing the old Brazil style of 'if you score 3 we'll score 4'.....can't see it working!
