The sooner Oldham get back playing in Oldham, the better.

Is it next season at BP ?

Too big of a club and too much History for them to be where they are. More than capable to get to SL with the right direction and clout.

Harry will the two proposed train stations in golborne and Culcheth come under Leigh or be added to Warrington's ever growing list

Not a clue Elbow, but the two in Atherton will still be closer to the LSV with the furthest 4 miles away.

Only trying to put some humour in a tired topic.

Seems like there are those who do not tire of bringing it up!

Just a genuine question do RL fans actually travel in numbers to matches via rail.

They’re back in Oldham now (Avro FC) where they played previously in that division. It was only in the Championship that they played at Stalybridge.

There's always quite a few getting on and off trains at Hull Interchange. Of course it's only a 10 minute walk from there to the MKM so it makes sense to take the train if you're travelling to games from outside the city.

hmmmm.

Nowt wrong with the ambition although the team aren't helping much at the moment. It's over three months away so I don't see why they couldn't get there.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

All for the ambition, nust not sure it’s possible unless they are giving tickets away, maybe to schools?

Maybe although would have thought 25 August was the worst possible time to target schools, they will all have been shut for a month.

A lot of our 20 away fans go on the train, at least half of that will be on the train for Warrington on 10th June, not via Leigh though 😃

Saturday at 5pm is a decent time for away fans to travel to by car, coach or train.

Yes. Back to BP next season. The new board, led by Mike Ford, are really trying to re-engage with supporters. First they re-introduced concession charges, the Dewsbury game is free entry and next week there's an evening with the fans with an open forum where supporters can ask the board and coaching staff any questions they like. There's a real buzz about the town and no wonder the Dewsbury game was a sell-out almost a week beforehand. If the game had been at BP, who knows what the crowd could have been.

Brilliant News. Always had a soft spot for Oldham. Used to love the games v Leigh and a Stongly supported Oldham beats any new side from Timbuktu being fastracked to sell sky dishes !

More than 5 weeks before our game in Perpignan and after only being on sale a few days Leigh have only 70 tickets left from the usual 3 blocks allocated to away fans - hope we get some more

Do trains go straight to the South of France or will you have to change?

Is it ambitious to give away so much of your profit margin? Surely ambitious would be trying to get that big crowd without massively discounting the tickets?

Huddersfield have been trying this cheap ticket thing for years. It's not working.

Tbh I have no idea what the ticket prices are. I don't disagree with your second para.
