I'd say you're doing enough mate. The band of supporters that go seem to have plenty of colour and make plenty of noise and good luck to them. Liked the 'Fools rush in' song. Ignore the digs, it only comes up as an issue because the ground is so big.

Nope. If Huddersfield had gone from 5k to 9k average, it would still be less than half the stadium but most reasonable people could see the progress. As it is......

Only way forward is 5 year plan for SL final

Edinburgh Cardiff Dubln for a start

Magic Barcelona

Tickets on sale ASAP 10000 held back for each finalist job done.

Who do you think any of those grounds would get bigger cup final crowds than London?

Should the RFL do a big push to neutrals, especially in London and SE for the following years CC final not long after the previous years final. Try to build it up as an event long before the finalists are known with x amount of tickets saved for the finalists.
How many tickets could the realistically target to sell before the finalists are even known?

It would be easier to sell a guaranteed England fixture annually.

The "map" for those interested.

Also for those interested, I remember getting block 230 for £40 in 2017 on an early ticket buyer deal. I can't remember what those seats were at full whack.

Is there a pass out system?

I'd like to watch all 3 games but I don't really fancy sitting in Wembley for 7 hours.

Mind you, even with a pass out there's not much around Wembley these days apart from dreary corporate and capitalist monoliths.

I think firstly you need applauding for your hard work and passion. Did Huddersfield not have some approaching 10k crowds a few years ago by opening up to the university with offers .

Thank you, we are  a decent, loyal fanbase, like others are and it just annoys me that as a Huddersfield fan we are made to feel like our club and our loyal fans don't deserve anything because we can't find 20,000 fans.

We didn't capitalise on the Uni deals enough, massive opportunity lost, we had £5 tickets available through the students union and £10 tickets for Uni employees but it wasn't massively publicised and had a very minimal take up.

We have never got 10k, we had the odd few crowds over 10k but most we averaged was around 7500.

For a start I don't expect you personally to do anything. Unless there's something you're not telling us I don't think you own the club and are responsible. It sounds like you are a dedicated fan but you're not above being sarcastic about other clubs and their fans so don't act so offended when people point out things like this.

Wakefield and Salford probably get more stick for their attendances than Huddersfield. Probably the reason Huddersfield do get a bit of grief is because they have spent quite a bit of money and have had a modicum of success, so probably more is expected.

I'm not offended, far from it, I just find it annoying that a crowd of say, 5,000 for Huddersfield is a poor crowd but 5,000 for others is a great crowd etc.

What modicum of success have Huddersfield had? Salford have been more successful than us.

I don't know what we spend, as you say, I'm not the owner nor responsible.

CC Finals? League leaders shield? That's not nothing.

It's not sustained though, 1 League win in 90 years

1 cup final win in 60 years.

Fair enough we have been in 3 cup finals in the last 2 decades, but we didn't win them, people associate with winning teams not getting to a final every 10 years team.

Not so sure. If they had the noisey passionate fans they do in a 10k ground with a terrace behind the goal, I don't think we'd hear half as many comments about their crowds.

I'm not saying it's an incredible winning streak but it's definitely better than nothing. I bet Wakefield fans would bite your hand off if you wanted to swap places.

The problem Huddersfield are dogged by is that they are in a ground that is more than twice as big as they could possibly hope for. It alway looks and feels poor.

That isn't necessarily the Giant's fault, but it is basically the route of the criticisms of their crowds.

In the AJ Bell, or comparative west Yorkshire grounds in Cas or Wakey their attendances don't look too bad, nor do they feel like they are lost in a chasm.

How that is solved I do not know. Its an unenviable task. Have the club considered only using 2 stands or something similar?

748 Hull fans outnumbering the home support.

Away fans outnumbering the home fans at Huddersfield so far this year;

Warrington- 1,531 ( 7,731)

Wakefield 1,444 (5,872)

Wigan 1,027 ( 5,777)

Leigh 877 ( 4,977)

Hull FC 748 (4,579)

St Helens 740 ( 4,684)

Castleford 389 ( 4,070)

Castleford 361 ( 4,206)

Great figures. Goes to show an element success (cup final last year ) doesnt equate to bums on seats

Over 6k home fans only once(1st game of the season)

5k to 6k home fans zero

4k to 5k home fans 3 times

Less than 4k home fans 4 times

Would anyone really miss the Giants if they werent in SL?

I know this thread is really about Huddersfield’s attendances, but does anyone know last night’s at Saints or Sheffield? I assume HKR won’t announce theirs 🙄

You might need to start a new thread Eddie. You’re getting off topic talking about attendances other than Huddersfield’s

We used to do then idiots from Leeds, Hull and Salford spoilt that and caused us to put away fans behind the posts.

The topic is about attendances, Huddersfield was brought up because the attendance at Huddersfield was posted.

Most of the last few pages have been about the cup final and ticket prices and coach travel and French teams.
