Surely Super Coach Watto and his 45 strong 'elite' squad need to step up and show the promise they had - before a ball was kicked this season.

They've also got former player Kendall refereeing the game which IMO should not be allowed to happen.

If Huddersfield can't beat Hull FC then they surely have little chance of overturning the mighty Hull KR.

Over thirty years since they last appeared on the big screen together, Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins have been offered starring roles in a film based on events at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 12th August 2023. It is hoped that "Silenced by the Lams" will be a box office success.

Mighty Hull KR? Praise indeed from a black and white and I can see why you say that with you beating Huddersfield and losing 0-40 to Rovers.

But us Rovers fans aren't making any big claims just yet other than we are a club on the rise.

Rovers fans to start booing after 8 minutes and abusing the home grown ref after 14 minutes and threatening to kill him as the Giants romp home to claim a memorable away win.....

Confident of a win but i said that on our last visit to Kingston, anyway i'm sure whatever the result i'll enjoy the sound of booing ringing round my ears on the way home.

Reminds me of that famous philosophical question:

“If a Rovers fan boos a ref and no Huddersfield fan is around to hear it, does he make a sound?”

Apparently this site says I "won the day" here on 23rd Jan, 19th Jan, 9th Jan also 13th December, whatever any of that means. Anyway, 4 times in a few weeks? The forum must be going to the dogs - you people need to seriously up your game. Where's Dutoni when you need him?

Just got back from the game. Rovers are a different team to  what we have seen in the past, so tight together and playing for each other. I'm not saying that they are going to win the league or the Grand Final, after supporting them for over 60 years, I  have seen so much disappointment but we seem to be going  in the right  direction. Huddersfield never looked like scoring. Connor was stealing a wage tonight, did nothing except mouth off and give away 2 tries. One, he threw out the ball, intercepted by Ryan Hall, who went 90 metres to score and even better, gathered the ball in front of his line, tackled by Opacic, who took it off him and scored. No wonder our neighbours got rid.

Good win for the Revers, but as I intimated earlier Watson is not at all as good as people have been giving him credit for, he did nothing with Salford till Paul Rowley joined him then took all the accolades.

Revers are most definitely the shining light East of the Pennines all the other Yerkshire clubs occupy the bottom 5 positions in SL.

Very solid performance from Rovers it's remarkable how much the defence has improved.

No Jordan Abdull tonight and Coote went off early. This meant that Jez Litten had to play half back because Mikey Lewis was moved to FB. Could have been disruptive the halves of Abdull and Lewis have been tremendous this season but suddenly it was Litten and Milnes instead. But the team just carried on as if nothing had happened.

If Ian Watson wants to know why Jake Connor is not in the England squad he need only watch the video of this game. Connor was absolutely awful nothing came off for him at all.

Huddersfield pretty much never looked like scoring. Just one moment when Mikey Lewis did well to prevent a 40/20 but only succeeded in palming the ball in play for a Hudds player. Lewis chased back to prevent a certain try so redeemed himself.

Huddersfield it has to be said were very ordinary but they were suffocated by the Rovers defence.

I thought our last away game across the city was bad, this one was even worse, we were double awful!.

We've teamed up the 2 highest assisters in the land this season and neither of them have done anything of note this year, i would quite happily see them both dropped when Olly Russell is back.

These players have believed the hype given to them by all around them but have so far failed to realise you have to actually work hard to live up to it, very few are doing anything but at the moment.

KR were good though, they knew exactly how to beat us and did it well ie put a kick in behind our line as none of our lot have any pace or any desire to chase the ball at the moment.

A lot of our squad need to take a long hard look at themselves and ask if they are giving enough, if they're honest most of them will say no!!
