NRL Match Thread - Round 10

Recommended Posts

Quite a frantic first half for Titans v Eels, with Foran getting a quick double and Khan-Pereira scoring a beauty. Sivo's opener makes it 16:4 at HT.

I'm suffering from Magic Round fatigue but have one eye on this game.

Titans  22  (20) - Eels  8 with 29 to go to full time after a superb length-of-field try  by Khan Pereira

I missed the first couple of games this morning, in favour of a lie-in, but this is an entertaining one. The Eels are clawing they way back against a Titans side known for wilting late on.

Game 1 two sides lacking in confidence, I could not follow Wests attempt to preserve the lead through one-out rugby, they had been breaking the SGI line repreatedly in the first half but only once in the second half and that resulted in a try. - Anthony Griffin may be gone by the end of the week as SGI begin a save our season scramble..

Game 2 - Credit to the Cows they turned up and played the monsoon conditions better. I am always amazed that there is so little media criticism of Trent Robinson for the underwhelming Roosters season. Something along the lines of "you dropped Sam Walker to reserve grade Trent, How's it going for ya?"

Game 3 - Again credit to Gold Coast, Mich Moses off his game and his missed conversions proved critical. Every time it looks like Parra are getting back into top eight contention they play like this.

A week to week season, if you look at the table there are four points seperating Souffs in second to the NZ Warriors in the eleventh spot.
