Can't help but feel sorry for the guy. Puts in a decade of service to the organisation, makes the step up this season because let's be honest the club is running on the cheap, and then loses his job after a few months. Should've stayed where he was eh.

Seems like he was out of his depth, but sure it wasn't helped by their ridiculous recruitment strategy.

Nigel Wood can't organise a p*ss up in a brewery - I mean, I for one am shocked.... who knew?

Apparently this site says I "won the day" here on 23rd Jan, 19th Jan, 9th Jan also 13th December, whatever any of that means. Anyway, 4 times in a few weeks? The forum must be going to the dogs - you people need to seriously up your game. Where's Dutoni when you need him?

Bradford have been out of Super League for 10 years or so and don't look like they will be back any time soon. Doesn't that make you happy enough?

Just exactly what did they do to you to warrant such physcopathic hatred? It's rather disconcerting to be honest.

It's really a case of what goes around comes around,  I also feel sorry for the true Bradfordian faithful the nonsense management is a revolving door at Odsal.

1) How can you and others make the nonsensical gesture of saying "I feel sorry for their proper fans" whilst wanting their club to die out? It's ludicrous.

2) I'm interested to find out exactly what it is that's going around. Is it because they had the nerve to attain some success? Thus they deserve some sort of retribution? It's actually insane thinking.

One things for sure, neither Huddersfield or Halifax are going to set the world on fire anytime soon.

No, not because they achieved success but the way they dealt with it.

Remember Kipling? “Meet with triumph and disaster and treat those two imposters just the same”? But they didn’t, they crowed in victory and whinged in defeat, and when they hit bad times people remembered the triumphalist crowing and thought that hubris was well served in this instance

Triumphant crowing? Or just fans enjoying themselves - what a crime. You don't think you are doing exactly that anyway? Revelling in another clubs misfortune? If what you and your cohorts say is true, then it's only a matter of time until you will be the one where it comes back to.

They hit bad times over a decade ago, at what point are you going to accept that they have suffered and focus on your own club and pushing them forward? Or are you happy being small fish in a small pond forever more?

Didn't think he'd be first to be sacked. I mean he has won more games than Wakefield?

I think you need to take that rather large chip off your shoulder I would be  pleased if Bradford were a force again, but the powers that be at your club are the same as previous out of their depth again.

Bradford as a club deserve all they get and I for one take great pleasure seeing them in't mire for reasons I've stated on here in the deleted thread. They are an absolute basket case of a club although I do feel genuinely sorry for their real supporters.

I’m not having this!! I hate Bradford more than you!

I also hate NW which makes me feel sorry for Bradford, but only for a second and then it makes me smile.

My twopenneth. Id have stuck with him. The first handful of games we played relatively well, York the exception. We have had an extensive injury list, particularly to our major signings. The finger can be pointed at dual reg and so it should be. We didn't need it for the Keighley game, disrupted the applecart for a big game and they mauled us. It seemed we had short mid and long term goals of which I speak about on here regularly about the game, but alas a knee jerk reaction.

The oddest thing about the DR is the best player sent out by Leeds was Hooley to Batley for the game against the Bulls!

I'm a Leeds fan and I want Bradford to get back to the top if its at all possible. Some of the bitter, sour grapes stuff on here from fans of other clubs is ludicrous. Same as some people having a laugh at Wakey because of something said/done years ago. Grow up.

What chip? I aren't a Bradford supporter, I just think the handful of hateful Muppets on here are ridiculous and need to grow up. There are huge chips on here alright but not from me, I wish all RL clubs well.

And how can you say you want them to be a force again? That would involve having success and as we have read on here, that deserves karma and subsequent failure and going bust. After all the fans might celebrate a bit too robustly and that would be worthy of a death sentence for the club.

Ludicrous.

Any news on potential replacements? “Radford to Bradford”?

According to bulls Assistant Coach Lee Greenwood will take over on an interim basis while the club’s search for a new head coach begins

BUT let's not forget

The club has asked Assistant Coach Mark Dunning to take over as Interim Head Coach, while the club runs a thorough recruitment process to identify the next Head Coach.

I'm surprised that Mark Dunning was sacked and would like to thank him for his service to the Bulls and the city. I got the impression that, when giving statements to the local press about playing dual registration players, he was reading from a script.

The fans aren't happy with certain recent performances and selections but most will readily admit that the playing style has been better than the previous years of Kearball.

I didn't go to the Barrow game on Sunday but understand that ( a ) we were leading at halftime and ( b ) we got thoroughly swamped in the second half. Maybe the second half non-performance was produced by players thoroughly cheesed off by the way their team has been treated recently.

It's Swinton at home next week. I'll be going but my heart isn't in it.

Wound up? I think most people on here seem to be showing great delight at Bradford's plight. I however think its a disgrace. 😉

To many evils omit from this DR madness, as I have said all along if the coach said to me I was being stood down this week to allow a guest to play, I would tell him to make sure he has him again next week, I won't be available.

It can not be any good whatsoever for team moral, and even moreso in a division were relegation is a part of the season, teams should neither be advantaged or disadvantaged because of DR.

The club and how it's run now and previously are responsible for building the buissness on and off the field you need to stop blaming all and sundry for their demise.

It is really tough to have a good faith discussion about the current situation at Bradford for about a thousand different reasons. It’s not just a problem on here though, I think a lot of level minded Bradford fans have just stopped watching the team as regularly and posting about it as well. I admire those left that persist. For a lot of non-Bradford fans, it’s an emotive subject, and I totally understand that, but I think both sides of the debate can be a little stuck in the past.

Make no mistake though, pretty much all issues at the club are of their own doing as Dunning’s spell as head coach highlights. As pointed out already, the pressure was lumped on Dunning at the last fans forum by the owner claiming there was a “worldwide search” on for Kear’s replacement. Then he tries to build his own team, but it’s filled mid year with a load of loan replacements apparently neither he, nor the players, are keen on at all. You have to ask yourself why and who is authorising that.

Brian Noble is in the background in an undefined role – “chief bottle washer” he has joked on more than one occasion, but surely that is causing a lot of confusion. And then we get to Dunning’s “amicable” split with the club (could have fooled me listening to his interview on Sunday), with a statement coming from not the owner, but the CEO who is a volunteer and has zero previous experience of running a RL club.

Never mind the question of are these the actions of a club with desires on Super League, are these the actions of a club that particularly cares about the welfare of their employees? It’s a complete circus, and I’ve heard – anecdotally – there aren’t many professionals in the game, be it players or otherwise, that would touch Bradford with a bargepole because of it being such a basket case. Perhaps I am wrong on that, but if I’m not can you blame them?

I have no idea on what the endgame is here – there is clearly no desire to turn the situation round by the current leadership at the club. We certainly don’t have to have aspirations to be in SL – it’s laughable the club ever mention it – but what is the short to mid term aim of the club? The Odsal deal we were told by some to have faith in the chairman to get over the line, crashed and burned as everyone else predicted. A lot of eggs seemed to be in that basket, so where now...?!

I'm looking forward to their next set of accounts to see if they can go 3 years in a row with exactly the same (nice round) numbers....

Not sure where I've blamed anyone or anything for their demise other than the club.

What I'm talking about is the ridiculous obsession that many have on here for hating (and that is the correct word, as they admit) Bradford based on childish stuff from years ago. It's borderline mania.

Is that the (practically) dormant parent company BBBBB Ltd? Nice firewall keeping Big Nige and co well away from the action for the next time the brown stuff strikes the air con.
