Netherlands RL Championship

  • Gomersall changed the title to Netherlands RL Championship

Would be interested to hear what others think about whether twitter posts like this should be in Dutch? To me having them all in English screams ‘niche sport for foreigners’. It would be good to see Dutch and English if space allowed

The Netherlands is one of those countries where English is used as a first language in many places due to diversity of the country. Im sure someone would come along and complain that they cant understand the twitter feeds if they were in Dutch. As for a "niche sport for foreigners" I would say around 75% of the registered players are born and bred Dutch and this is increasing every year.

As for the rugby Im going to have to see whats going on .Den Haag have won every Premiership and been in every Grand Final since the competition started six years ago. To go winless in their first two games is a bit of a shock.

It takes wisdom to know when a discussion has run its course.

It takes reasonableness to end that discussion.
