For Leigh to rotate and save players and win a fabulous game was superb.

Let's hope they can really upset the apelecart next Sat 👍

Hope so.

Salford looking like they are in free fall.

Not at all, Salford looked like the team from early season, no disrespect to Wakey and Leeds but If Salford played as they did today they would have blown them of the park, today was a massive attitude day for both clubs and either one of them could have win it.

Well I dint think there was a knock on, the ball to Briscoe looked forward, then a weird kick on by him and a couple of Salford played played pat a cake with the ball before Hardaker just picked it up and plonked over, I just kept looking a Thaler to see what he was going to disallow it for because it seemed so unreal  - as strange a try I can remember seeing 😀

I watched Thaler closely he was in my eyeline as to the play and himself, immediately the ball broke from being rebounded by both teams he was waving play on, before Hardacre picked the ball up to score,

Come on!  Wakefield have never won a game in Super League unless the opposition have played ######.

Do keep up.  🙄

Hardaker scores. Sounds like it was after a knock on by Leigh.

I was in that corner, was scrappy, but the only knock on was from Salford trying to gather the kick through.

Still not entirely sure how Leigh won that game. Thought Salford were the better side overall, but wasted chances to put the game out of reach at 22-10, and then their discipline let them down. They did well to Asiata’s usual options in attack, but Asiata in turn was able to go to a plan B and play a big part in a couple of tries.

Fair play to Reynolds for the two kicks at the end, but he still strikes me as a hothead at times during the game.

Really interesting looking at the table after this. I know it seems to be repeated weekly how open SL is this season, I think it's worth repeating and pointing out that now as well as Wakey making a fight of it, there's a real race for the play-off spots, with even the sides from maybe 4th downwards looking over their shoulder should they lose a couple of games. Worth just really enjoying it no matter who you support really, it's been a really interesting season so far.

On their day, Salford can beat anyone, no doubt about it.

we owed them that one as we lost 2 tight games and didn’t deserve to lose the second one so that levels it out a little.

Anyway, let’s hope they can recharge the batteries for Sunday. I don’t know how it is fair how one side can have 3 full more days rest leading up to a cup semi than their opponents but cest la vie.

I hope the guys give it their best shot and give it absolutely everything.

Caught second half on RM, sounded like Salford had a bit of  brain explosion 2nd half with gifting penalties (giving ten for mouthing) after being the dominant side.

3K from Leigh is ###### by the way, they sold 1700 tickets no way was Leigh walk up (1300) going to be anywhere near that.

The Leigh fantasy fairies have started posting again.

1700 sold by Leigh in advance. Imagine there could easily have been another few hundred walk ups, or bought seats from Salford before Leigh got the extra allocation. Salford fans will know more about how many home fans they’re generally getting into games. Not that it matters

It's the old adage that like losing winning becomes a habit, in recent weeks and games the skill that Leigh have displayed has carried them to victory there was nothing of the sort today it was the will and the determination to play and fight for each other that brought about the win.

We all have our favourite's and some of us don't respect some player's as much as we appreciate others, but for me the contribution that Reynolds gives to this team more than justifies his selection, he is much more than just than a very reliable goal kicker, he more then plays his part in the attack and his defence can be relied on, albeit his goalkicking  alone is reason enough to put him in the team. Just my opinion.

3k is SC on the wind up I imagine, was around 2k which is still a decent following

Very even match and just as I predicted 4 trys apiece with a tight conclusion , Leigh with some luck for the last try , and as you say dissent costing 10 metres which put the winning penalty within kicking range

Salford defended very well and made life difficult for us requiring a change of plan , just what we needed before next week , didn't look like any injuries or potential bans

Fan wise we pretty much filled the away standing with another couple of hundred in the seats , so about 2,000 by my guess , Salford fans would probably know more for certain , Wigan up next after the semi , fun times 😀

I have no problem with 2k* ( and that is a good turn out) but a claim of 3k is a fanciful fairy idiot claim.

*Probably about what Wire brought to Wigan.

I'd concur about Ben , as I've said in the past different to Lam and gives a different attacking threat , but for me today's Leyth MOM was Zac , really took it to Salford in that second half and his try was hilarious, just watched it on the highlights , well worth a watch

Just seen the highlights, Leutele’s try looked dodgy at the time even from 100 yards away, more so now even as a Leigh fan struggling to see how that was given - but worth it just to see Brierley’s reaction 😀

Who made that claim mi Humble friend? Salford asked for tickets back by 4 on Friday, until Wednesday those wishing to sit had to buy from Salford and Friday pm to game day Leigh fans bought tickets off Salford ticketing. That end has a capacity of 2500, all the walkways were populated and it was a challenge to move. If that end holds 2500 then the following was approaching 3000
