We would happily have paid with cards or phones or even offering to do the washing up but were told we needed tickets. Never happened before.

Ah, the IMG protocol, costs extra now to get into the Royal enclosure. They can shove it if they want an extra fiver to watch the great and the good stuff a pre match meal down their necks.

Interesting what happens now….no free weekends so a long midweek trip for Skolars.

I was looking forward to my first visit to Dewsbury, but went down to a stomach bug and had to spend the day in bed feeling sorry for myself instead.

Looking at the table, loosing by just 14 points could be considered a tactical victory for the Cru as our points difference is still 172 better than Rochdale, could be very important on the last day of the seasom. Meanwhile Dewsbury can put the champagne on ice as they are now just one win from the title, what a game that will be next week at Hunslet, who are the only team who can mathematically catch them.

Thank goodness we have already played Midlands Hurricanes twice.😃

From minute 1 the Cru were looking for damage limitation only. Never looked liked breaking Dews defence all day. Thought Dews were lethargic and generally poor but conditions were always going to be a get out clause. Pretty defeat or horrible win. Horrible win every game. Bet Dons would have settled for that today.

They told us the same...£5 for a ticket to get into the bar after the game...... the stadium must not want away fans money.

Oh! Plus they wouldn't let us put up flags because they didn't have a fire certificate!

We scored a try, so we did break your defence! Our problem was not finishing sets or poor discipline when we were in good field position, I don't think damage limitation was on our agenda. It took Rams over 20 minutes to score any points, had a second try from a skirmish in the corner and then resorted to taking 2 point penalties. I'd say Crusaders put on a pretty dogged performance.

Apologies when I say break defence I meant forcefully coming through us. I also agree that the Crusaders put on a pretty dogged performance. To conclude I don’t think there was ever any danger that they were going up with the two points. Not being disrespectful by the way.
