I don’t think there’s anyway Saints are finishing 2nd. Hopefully done enough to finish 4th. I think 4 wins out of the 7 games should see that confirmed but it would be a tough road to the GF from there. Most of the rest I’d agree with but think I’d swap Wakey for Cas.

Think they've got an easier run in then Leigh and Wigan.

Also I can see Wakey winning next week, but if Warrington continue in terrible form then can see a desperate Cas beating them at home. Could come down to points difference.

Looks like all the excitement will be at the bottom of the table. Can't wait to watch that unfold.

I see three battles so far.

I think LLS is sewn up, but a couple of defeats could happen, yeah never know!

Battle for 2nd and a bye in the playoffs between Wigan, Saints and Leigh.

Relegation battle between Cas and Wakey.

Everyone else battling for 5th and 6th and it really could be any of them.

Salford to sneak in

They can't buy a win though. Stranger things have happened but at this stage you've got to look at the teams that have got momentum. At this stage that it Hull and - out of nowhere - Huddersfield.

Whatever the result next week, Hull KR are going to have a massive challenge on their hands to put it behind them and refocus on the league. Not saying they can't do it, but history shows how hard that is to do, especially for teams who aren't used to playing in those games.

Warrington look absolutely hopeless. Leeds are too inconsistent. Salford can't find a win. Even though they both still have ground to make up Hull and Huddersfield are the only ones who look capable of putting a significant run together.

1. Catalans

2. Wigan

3. St Helens

4. Leigh (same with Rovers, next week could well take a huge emotional toll)

5. Hull

6. Huddersfield

7. Hull KR

8. Warrington

9. Leeds

10. Salford

11. Wakefield

12. Castleford

Relegation will go a long way towards being decided when they play each other. Its a coin flip really, but I'm just edging towards Trinity.

I really do hope we can manage to scrape in, especially in 5th. Saints or Leigh in the first round would be very difficult regardless, but if we somehow managed to even get that far, I'd rather play Wigan than Catalans in the next round and 5th is the only small chance we'd have to avoid them (if 6th also manage to win in the first round).

I'm dreaming though! 🤣
