Shuddersfield to get trampled by the Rhino's to such an extent they get renamed the Shuddersfield Dwarf's.

Watson to whinge that every ref's decision was wrong, that they should have had 10 penalty try's given to them and Leeds should have had 5 sent off.

Shuddersfield 10 - 48 Rhino's

And coming from a Saints fan with Wellens in charge.

Nene Macdonald is a gig miss for us, been our best player this year, he’s gone home for the birth of his child! Our squad is looking a bit thread bare

Just goes to show Chris, he was far and away from the best player at Leigh last season and in the Championship. He has either improved dramatically or the players around him are not as good as those at Leigh in comparrison.

I remember many of those on here for Leeds either not knowing he was or being sceptical. Having seen him in the Champ a few times on Premier I knew he was a gun and easily SL standard

Think he has upped his game further at Leeds. Defensively better than I imagined he would be without being exactly watertight

Some sides have worked out how to get him to bite in earlier than he should....same as with Handley who has been targeted for that in recent seasons (and he still falls for it)

He might have just fitted in better at Leeds playing for his former coach.

It’s a strange comment to make from a Leigh fan, there’s quite a few players who are playing far better for Leigh than they did in their previous club, maybe the Leigh players aren’t as good as the players around them before.

You know that ain't true.

Good try, but no cigar👍

Harry I just made the same point as you tried to.

Do you seriously think that Nene Macdonald is having a good year because he’s surrounded by worse players than last years Leigh side?

Apparently some activities around stadium for this ? Anyone know what? Trying to plan what time I arrive with the kids (and if there is enough for them to do etc if I come really early)

Also roughly what time does the stadium car park fill up (or what time recomwnwd to make sure I get a spot?  ...can't see anywhere to book it )

Just found the info in their website

Anyone know if I'm likely to get a car spot if I arrive for the 1pm fan zone opening ? We might now actually eat at the ground instead

The fanzone thing isn't much to write home about, it's basically a food stand (a very good one though), a DJ, an outside bar and inflatable goals, a merchandise stall, sometimes the cheerleaders are out and about but to be honest, there's not a right lot happening from 1.

Our Supporters Association bar is open from 1 but for members only, you're welcome to join up for £5 and enjoy half price drinks until 2.

And you should have no problem parking at 1pm in the vicinity of the stadium

Now I did not say that Chris, it is about perspectives when one looks at something from a different angle they get a different view, being a business man you will be well aware of such.

18-0 I don’t loke having a go at refs but two of the try’s weren’t trys

You must be one of the few fans who doesn't lol.

A really poor Hudds have just beaten Leeds what a crock of garbage if Smith is the answer I'll be the next man on the moon.

A Hudds side that was pretty much full strength you mean, we had no chance with the team we put out.

Well done Hudds they did what they needed to, they’re boring to watch though.

Also just a question I thought the ref could only stop play when a player is down when the doctor is on?

The ref can stop play for any injury he deems serious enough. The rule about the Dr is if he’s on he has to stop play

Ah ok, it was great timing by the Huddersfield player then 😉

Firstly hope Bentley is ok, 1st time i've ever seen anyone carried straight into the back of a waiting ambulance rather than down the tunnel.

The difference between the 2 sets of fans was markedly seen after Halsall's injury, the entire Huddersfield crowd were stood up applauding Bentley off the field, the Leeds fans booed as Halsall was led off, not one was applauding.

For some reason they seemed to think that the game can't be stopped for a head injury, with a doctor on the field, within 20metres of the try line, next time i'm sure whoever is injured will be fine with letting Leeds carry on playing to see if they might score before accepting treatment, idiots!.

As for the game it certainly wasn't one for the purists, we took our chances and in the end just simply ground the fat unicorns down, was a bit worried with their 2 late tries and a sin-binning for us at the end of the 1st, they had nothing in response in the 2nd half apart from Sezer trying a chip over literally every last play, or giving it to the fat bloke to try and barge through.

Job done, moved up a place and stillin with a feint hope of the top 6.

See Leeds fans, players and coaches are already going down the blaming the ref route.

Hurrah for the Claret and Gold.

Take it you were one of those booing him then?

Shame the mentality of your lot was not reciprocated as in the Bentley injury.

There's nothing lower than booing an injured rugby league player.

That drop goal that was given was hilarious.

Not really, Connor just dropped it and kicked it over the bar as per the rules, nothing funny about it.

Ive never booed anyone at any Rugby game. They weren’t booing the player but the ref anyway.

the two incidents were totally different, the hudds player went down, got up went off for a HIA then came back on, Leeds we’re pretty much guaranteed to score. Bentley was knocked out and stretchered off into an Ambulance.

If that had been the other way round your coach would have had a right old whine about it and you know it.

What did you think about the ‘drop goal’?

Except it clearly wasn’t over the bar or between the post, even the Hudds players didn’t think it went over.

By the way none of the refs decisions are why we lost, we simply didn’t execute our chances.
