Was said if we had to get any more loan players in then we'd have a massive points deduction and be guaranteed the drop, at least this is a sign the club aren't going that way untill absolutely necessary. Still fight left in the dog yet, hats off to all the 16 players!

Due to an incompetent board that stood by and watched this develop all season. Now they’ve returned as heroes. The state of the squad available is down to them.

Was shocked by the response to their return, baffled in fact that the people who have got the club in such a position are welcomed back as heroes 🤷🏻‍♂️

No one else was coming forward to offer any support to Les so what should we do instead? Let one man try and turn it around or get whoever offers help on board? I'm not saying the returning people are the way forward but I'd rather have them on board right now offering their services than no one at all. Time everyone gets on the same page and the club gets the support it deserves and needs, starting today!

I have never been as happy following Whitehaven home and away all my life and that result today with 16 starting and ending up with only 13 lads able to continue is absolutely amazing and winning it at the death is there ever a sweeter feeling?

Totally agree with you I was ecstatic when Maizen scored right on the hooter then get home and find Jonty Gorley has left. Having listened to his interview a couple of times there’s only one reason he has gone early and that’s the return of the so called knights in shining armour.

Maizen had a great game when you beat us (Swinton) at our place - it hurts us but a great result with only a bare 16 players hope we both stay up but then we could also both go down 😞

The mud slinging & bit**ing at this club at present is truly playground stuff, and it appears to come from the top down, either sort your s*it out and all get on and put the club FIRST or don't let the gates hit you on the way out. Those on the board are supposed to have the good of the club at the forefront of everything they do, not make what you do for the club to fit your own agenda of what you want to happen.

Plenty of loyal supporters are pi**ed off at the minute and rightly so over the way things have been handled!!

PUT THE CLUB FIRST!!!

Not the way you want to finish with the players refusing to play.  Could lead to fines and points deduction next year if there is a next year.

I also seriously doubt we could persuade anyone to sign for us next season.  Maybe a year out is required and we reapply for League 1 in 2026.

Game over I think mate

I am a Bolton fan at football and this happened to us a few years ago, we had to move backwards to move forwards and we are now in a much stronger poisiton, hopefully the future will look brighter

Fingers crossed mate, hard to be optimistic at times like this which I'm sure is the way you felt at the time

We have been there a few times before, always have a soft spot for Whitehaven, fantastic fans and never had one bit of trouble

We have had over twenty years of being in the "will we be able to continue world." We lost Watersheddings and had to play anywhere who would have us. We are now playing at Boundary Park for at least the next ten years and next year we are in the championship.

DON'T GIVE UP has to be the message. You don't know who might come along to make a difference.

You are a great club, one of which that I have lots of great memories.

All the best - you deserve it!
