Wow, so expecting to be, or be very close to, Grade A.

From what I can see, pretty much a grade A, even if they’re basing the increase on the score they were given before their appeal last year.

Have to be honest, I’m surprised that their attendances are high enough to tip them into the top band. Had assumed the numbers announced would be higher than the numbers submitted to safety officers (like every other club bar KR)

A lot hanging on whether they can complete the work to the stadium in time.

I wonder about the big screen points.

I haven't seen theirs (same as Bulls by all accounts) - hired in and below spec, if so. Allegedly, of course - I'm not a professional audio-visual technician.

No-one can dupe IMG though, so it's all good.

Wakey certainly look to be a Grade A - all the same kind of gains as Cas (but won't hit the 7500 crowds yet), plus the 1895 Cup and potentially the GF.

Surely we won't have a situation where another SL club is out of SL this time??

Leigh, Hudds and Salford must all be vulnerable if Cas and Wakey are both on the cusp of an A grade.

If Cas get the score they’re predicting and Wakefield get a grade A, then Leigh need to hope that neither Salford or Hudds have been able to improve their score by much, or else we’re down.

Whose we no-one will be out its London out Wakey in and 2 years from now if some have their way Dragons out.

Not that it matters if the NRL move in 🙂

The ‘we’ in the post you quoted referred to Leigh. I will be surprised if Toulouse have not managed to work in some increases into their finances score with this year’s accounts, to get themselves towards or beyond the 15 point mark. If they do, then it’s Wakey + Toulouse replacing London + 1.

And what a farce that would be.

Wakey & Cas Grade A 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I kind of agree with the sentiment, but Wakey is a completely different beast, off the field, to the club under the previous owners.

At the launch of the IMG system, everyone was saying there was no way the lower SL clubs could ever really make the progress. Seems that where there's a will, there's a way.

Why? You mean the Leigh bit? Yep.

But Hudds and Salford (off the field), have done nothing for years - they've been comfortable where they are.

Yes, the Leigh bit.

IMG should announce the scores in a stadium, they might get a decent crowd in. Segregation maybe needed though!

Newcastle, rather than Elland Road though.

Just shows the criteria is too soft. Wakey & Wigan (for instance) shouldn’t be in the same category at the moment.

I think Mr Beaumont is confident they are heading around an A also.

Correct.

A club playing second fiddle in a soccer stadium should not be able to get an A.

I reckon it's tight, as only a couple of months back Ellis (Wakey owner), said we wouldn't be doing the LED boards this year as he didn't think they were needed yet. I was there when he said it.

Now, the club have announced they WILL be in place by IMG scoring time.

No, because it will now cost any potential buyer considerably more to get their hands on the club and it's assets.

I don't think IMG will look at this in a good light.

They quickly jumped on Hudds when they suggested they would close stands to improve their utilisation score, so they won't let this far more serious act slip by.

Can the deliberate mis-valuing of assets be deemed a fraudulent act in tax law etc?

Thats The point I was making, any takeover would make things more difficult for the potential buyers. From listening to Cas fans they seem to want to stay put and get as much money out of the club as they possibly can.

Wigan Athletic had to rearrange a game to accommodate the world club challenge this year.

It was a bit tongue-in-cheek; pretty much every club out there would be happy to be half a step behind Wigan.

I'm thinking TO miss out. But maybe they are making incremental fixes too. Cas being on BBC2 a couple of times could be the clincher.

It's all so exciting.

Just because you think everyone hates you doesn't mean they don't.
