I don’t want to make assumptions of your circumstances, but recovery does tend to be a lot slower for us civvies that don’t have access to proper rehab facilities and physiotherapists micromanaging the recovery process.

I say that as someone with a pretty dodgy shoulder from a dislocation over 10 years ago because I was a lazy **** at the time with the NHS recommended rehab exercises.

Yeah. My biggest gripe was that I wasn't fully informed of what the recovery would take and the length of time it would take.

I still think he would try and put off the microfracture surgery as long as needed.

2 very good "signings", Deaney will only get better while Hadley is a massive part of KRs team, he was a big miss when out last season.

Hadley was a cracking loan signing for Trinity from Hull FC back in 2017.  Still going strong.

not so much a transfer as a player appointment - Adrian Morley has been made the ambassador for player welfare - quite ironic as he spent his entire career trying to hospitalize them!

Poacher turned gamekeeper - I think Gorden Tallis held a similar position for a while in the NRL.

Danny Walker, new deal at Warrington until the end of the 2029 season.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Which means that Warrington will receive a fee for him when Sam Burgess takes him with him to the South Sydney Rabittohs in 2 years time.

Most odd into a 3 year contract

It will come out in the wash in time, maybe it's just the new coach who doesn’t want him, but I don't know what kind of Salary he was on but if the Hull club are prepared to pay him off for 3 years then something is not tallying.

Harry, how does it work now regarding Jordan going only weeks into his 3 Yr contract.? I assume they pay him off to some extent but what happens regarding the salary cap.Do Hull cop for the full amount? If so that would really hurt their war chest.

Cheers

Could be a mutual consent agreement, basically the contract is ripped up Hull loose nothing Abdull gets paid nothing, so early in the contract there is probably a clause covering it not suiting either party, a probation period.

Yes if it is a mutual agreement, but at the moment unless we are advised as such who apart from the club and Jordan who knows?

As I suggested we will know the details when both or either party decide to divulge them, until then everything else is just speculation.

From earlier this month.

ohn Cartwright has not ruled out a knee operation for Hull FC half-back Jordan Abdull, although such a stance is viewed as a worst-case scenario and last resort. The 28-year-old is currently in rehab after suffering a knee setback in pre-season training with the goal of strengthening the issue before the Challenge Cup and Super League campaigns start next month.

That has seen the player step out of full training, instead working with the club's medical staff to correct the issue. That process was originally hoped to be completed over Christmas and into the New Year, but while Abdull has made some progress, the club is still cautious about the situation and is working hard to ensure the players fitness and health are on point before he resumes full training.

My money is on the injury is worse than previously thought or has got worse, there are reports he does need the surgery.

Any payment could be an insurance pay-out if his playing career is finished, a statement that says "The club have taken the decision to release the player from the remainder of his contract at the MKM Stadium to allow him to explore opportunities elsewhere in the game," he's looking for moving to something else, coaching, development, management.

If the surgery is successful and he can carry on playing eventually, no insurance pay-out but he is free to find another club, but that could be well into this season.

All speculation, but from putting together various pieces that are out in the public domain.

Have I been drinking too much, or did this Abdul story come out a week or two back?

Haha I’m glad you said this. I’ve seen a few surprised reactions today and am starting to think I’ve gone crazy.
