Hornets have the same lease they had before the sale. Hopefully with a few new faces on the board there might be a more positive attitude towards the relationship.

Sir Peter and the Ogden family have a deep connection to Rochdale, and our local community. Cameron Ogden will join the board of directors as co-chairman, alongside current chairman Simon Gauge, with Jamie Willoughby and Adam Saul also joining the Board as directors. Jamie and Adam both work for the Ogden Family business. Speaking about the news, chairman Andy Mazey said: "We are delighted for everyone connected with Rochdale AFC and send our congratulations to the Ogden family on their acquisition of the majority shareholding of the football club. "I would like to thank Simon for keeping me updated throughout the process, and I congratulate him and his colleagues on what is a fantastic outcome. "We look forward to what we hope will be a bright future for sport in Rochdale, and the development of a prosperous and strategic relationship moving forward." glemiln
Thankfully, one part of the ‘sign’ in the photograph above is now incorrect! Good luck to Dale in a new era, with a swift return to the EFL. Perhaps a wider smile on the fans’ statue of late David Clough (a school era friend). Dale’s focus of a development of a “Community Sports Hub and a business plan that can offer social mobility through education, alongside the sporting opportunity which the Club can offer” is great.
