Exactly Bradfords pitch is very hard for half backs to stamp themselves on that field with in being for narrow

It made me laugh. When is a signing anything other than 'exclusive'. Can two clubs sign the same player at the same time?

There's nothing wrong with Pattons creativity. He will have a huge number of assists for you. 

The problem with Patton was/is his lack of discipline and consistency in the game.  He doesn't seem to have the mindset to back up a great try assist with 5 good kicks in the corner and control the game. We played Swinton recently, Patton created all 3 tries for them. In the same game Swinton were rewarded a penalty for something innocuous. Patton then started giving the ref a load of back chat (as he had all game) and the ref sin-binned him and reversed the penalty. 

If Fev get someone along side him to control the game and be the main man while Pattons a support role, I think he'll be a very good signing. As I said he'll get you a load of try assists.

If it is Dec Patton, I’d be optimistic. We aren’t going to get a superstar, and he appears to be the best option available despite his flaws. Plus I can’t remember the last time we had a decent tactical kicker in the side.

         Patton should do a job for us and i welcome the signing if rumours are true.But i also feel for Swinton it may be the difference between staying up and relegation.They may need to reduce their outgoings and the money freed up could get them a couple of loan signings.

Lacans,addy,minikin,jones,springer,gale and bowes all signed for next year some on 2 year deals 

positive talks with aekins and turner about next year too 

turner, O’Connor and Beckett all told dewsbury fans they will be playing here next year so the squad is looking up

Ha ha things must be bad - I had thought about that one. 

Just being ignorant about Patton (and my knowledge of SL players) but looking at his stats I had no idea how impressive his record was in terms of SL appearances, Challenge Cup / Grand Final appearances etc.  Still young enough, proven goalkicker.  Plus as you say could be the midfield General we've been looking for since I can't remember.  So could be a good signing.

On the down side you could argue that looking at his record his career has been on a downward spiral.  I recall him having a mare at our place a couple of years ago when playing for Bradford which has stuck with me a bit - dropped passes and missed goal kicks etc.  Looking forward to see us play with a half back though.  We'll see.

He didn't have a mare t'other week for Swinton against us,I'd rather remember that then summett a couple of years ago lol.
